George's Pipe & Plumbing Supl

I have had the pleasure of working with three wonderful people at this place so far in my remodel. The knowledge these people carry with them about the product they sell is second to none. The sales people keep you informed during every step of ordering your products. They even deliver right to your house if needed! I would highly recommend George's for the unrivaled knowledge and amazing selection of fixtures. The new showroom is very nice too.

We purchased a LOT of plumbing fixtures during a recent remodel. We went to George's on the promise of reliable hardware for these items. We have found otherwise and have spent the better part of the year trying to replace defective equipment (that we purchased on the basis of a "lifetime" warranty). Each communication with George's brings a new excuse as to the problem with the items (ranging from a variety of bad plumbers to "incompatibilty" with the items!). To make matters worse, each conversation is begun with "who was the sales person?" Why don't they have these things filed by client name? Long story short, I wouldn't bother with these guys. Go to Snyder Diamond if you want high end. I'm heading to Lowe's now.

I have recently renovated 3 bathrooms and my kitchen. Initially, I tried to save money with HomeClick . com. BIG MISTAKE! I did save about 15% - 20% but the entire experience was a nightmare that is not over yet.

By contrast, working with Beth at George's Plumbing has been the best experience of my renovation. Her knowledge and detail in the ordering process was invaluable. She was a constant resource to my contractor for questions on installation. If I had any problem with a particular item; there was no hassle in returning it. She checked each item as it came in stock and contacted me immediately. She even helped me with the details of items I bought from Home Click.

The service I have received and the quality of my installation because of their attention to detail far out weighs the 15% I saved at Home Click.

I just completed the extensive remodel project of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I am so pleased with the outcome. My plumber and Contractor had recommended George's Pipe and Plumbing Supply, and am I happy they did. I had shopped for several months prior to starting the construction process and was becoming fustrated with the lack of assistance and the lack of knowledge I found other places. Going to George's I felt relieved to find that there are knowledgable experts that make the whole process easier and more comprehensive. I recieved an education that made me feel confident with my purchases. Though I have heard the remodeling nightmares from others, our entire project was a positive experience. Thanks to George's my husband loves our new master shower, and I am in love with my new kitchen sink and faucet. With all that I have learned along the way I would be willing to do it all again.

Large variety of faucets, sinks, tubs, and the like. They've recently moved from the Fair Oaks location to larger space on Palmetto Dr. I went there to choose some faucets this week and it was not an enjoyable experience. I felt I was immediately sized up with the conclusion being that it was not worth the sales person's time to expend anything other than a cursory effort in helping me. I expect a certain amount of personal attention and interest when I am trying to select something that I need, especially when it is an expensive purchase and when I have little knowledge of the quality and special function of a product. I explained my preferences and the style of my home and got little feedback, basically a disinterested, "well any of these would be fine." At one point the sales person left us to take a phone call and was gone for a very long time. When he finally returned, he offered no word of apology but looked over and said something like, "Oh, are you finding anything?" I got the distinct feeling he was hoping we had left. I won't buy here, even if I can't find my first choice elsewhere.

... we finally got our shower fixture installed, but man was it a painfull process. Sure they have great products at good prices, but getting the wrong parts over, and over, and over again was really, really frustrating. While this was going on I kept running into people who have had similar experiences with George's - one of them was a plumber himself. I would not recommend George's Plumbing to anyone. I am surprised they are still in business.

Georges Pipe & Plumbing is the only stop you'll need to make when looking for bathroom fixtures. Even though they are pricey.....it's only the highest end lines that they carry. They have all the latest styles that you see in contemporary decorating magazines. When you visit Georges ask for Bob! He's the man! We had great service and they answered every question we had. I had such a pleasant experience that I can't imagine going anywhere else from now on. You may need to be prepared to pay, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

I had to return a fireclay sink today because it was totally out of alignment. I had the feeling that the staff and management were not surprised by this; it was almost as though they knew that they had sold me a sink from a bad batch and hoped I wouldn't notice. They offered to order two new sinks to see if they could get one that was level, however. I'm hoping that the situation will be ok and I will update the review based on the result.

I purchased a lot of faucets from them when I first moved to Pasadena 5 years ago. They were quite helpful back then. However, I have noticed their service has declined a bit as they are getting to be more well known. I remembered that there was one time we went there, and we want to spend some time to look for few sets of faucet for our bathrooms, but the sales who was helping us was very pushy. We asked him if he can let us looked at their catalogue for a while, first he left that with us, but he kept coming back and worth, telling us things like :this style is more modern than that style......, and the one we like is not consider to be modern, etc. I thought that was very bugging. But the worst came later when another co-worker of his, came and took the catalogue away as if we did not know what we were doing, and we were taking their precious time . We thought there was rude. We just stop going there after that. Not until 2 days ago, I went there to check out the avaliability on some tub faucets (which I could not find else where). Well, one good thing is that those 2 rude sales are gone. But then I have to say their prices are gone quite expensive. I was shocked to find out later that I can find cheaper price on those same faucets at a nearby plumbing supply store. Actually I would rate them between satisfactory and wouldn't recommend. I guess it really depends whom you talk to there.
