Precision Tune Auto Care

Wow-What a change!! I tried Precision Tune a couple of years ago and was not satisfied, but I reluctantly went in again as I needed a quick oil change. Man has this place changed. I guess they got a new owner who has cleaned up the place. I had an oil change and it was less than jiff lube and faster, and I got an ASE mechanic not a high school kid. The owner (Debbie) showed me a few things to watch out for, but said that the small repairs can wait and are unneeded now. Again, an auto repair shop that is honest and gives me the straight scoop.

I recently had my car serviced at Precision Tune. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. My car was done quickly, and I wasn't pressured to pay for services that I didn't need. I definitely recommend this establishment, and will be returning myself.

I had an oil change and a few minor maintenance issues take care of. I found the staff helpful and felt well taken cares of. I also did not get any "Hard Sell" pressure from the staff and front office staff. I will definitely go there again.

I recently stopped by this shop as I have been to other precision tune locations. I came in for one of their great deals on oil changes(coupon in pennysaver) and they were able to get me in and out quickly. I asked them to check the brakes, and they were able to show me what was worn. (both pads and discs were close to the end of there service life) I took their estimate, called around, and found it to be competitive. I went ahead and had them do that job as well. I was pleased with the work, the staff was courteous and professional, prices were fair. The new owner took over about 2 or three months ago, and seems interested in earning my business and trust. This is a medium size oil change / repair shop in a small and kind of run down place. They offen mail you coupon for oil change at rock bottom price. I came there one for the offer, and they did honor the coupon. However, because of the outlook of the place, I was kind of wonder what kind of oil they put into my car.

I am less than thrilled with Precision Tune auto care because I found out that they were either pulling one over on me to rake in some more dough or somewhat incompetent in their job. Either way, I would not recommend their services to anyone. They aggressively pushed me to pay an extra $500 to repair an electrical problem that had broken down my radio and other minor functions. Due to their persistence, I went ahead and gave them the okay. But, a few weeks later, the electrical component broke down again and I brought my car back. They told me that they did not know how to fix it since their first attempt didn't work out. There went my $500 bucks. arghhh.
