I saw that Jill was listed as a "Super Lawyer". So I hired her. I found it to be a terrible mistake that did not reveal itself until it was much too late. Jill was unable to advocate for me in any way. She could not help me keep my house for me and my kids, even though it was entirely possible and would have been much cheaper than rent. When I met her I had obtained for myself through negotiation, guideline child support and spousal support and custody of my kids as well as a safe place for us all to live. I hired Jill to complete my divorce and she assured me I was in a "good position". She then proceeded to lose everything I had negotiated. I ended up losing the house, giving up 50% custody and below legal guideline child support and spousal support. Her M.O. is to get you to agree to things with the understanding that she will attain something better; for instance sell the house to obtain more Spousal support and child support and then does nothing of the sort and it is too late. She then tripled the fees due her. It was a complete nightmare that I will never recover from.
