Geno's is the best in East County.The surf decor in the restaurant suits me well, but the pulled pork is killer! My second favorite is his special BLT because of the sauce, but the ribs are as tasty.Try it - you will love it!!!!

I have attended many, many catered events over the years but nothing compares to genos bbq catering. genos sauces makes the difference i believe because his doesn't taste like all the others. i've never tasted a hot dog like the one he cooked and the burger was out of control. i know he makes some of the best tri tip and ribs becuase i've had them at his restaurant which i heard he sold...to bad!

Geno's, you won't go away hungry and you might even get seconds. I'm writing my own review because we treat you the way we want to be treated and serve you the same way. This has got to be the best barbeque place in the city. The owner is always present and his sons work with him as well. They introduce themselves to everyone and remember your face and name when you come back. The barbeque is to die for and they over chicken beef, hamburgers and hot dogs as well. The shop is decorated is classic surfer style and its a fun place to stop in for lunch. Although their prices are a little high, its definately worth the extra change.
