First let me say that I have never had a good experience at a car dealership regardless of carmaker. But I just picked up my new IS250 from Jim Falk Lexus in Beverly Hills and couldn??t be more pleased with the entire experience.

Morgan Osegueda (internet sales) was courteous and professional, answering all of my questions with great patience. I am not one who deals well with typical sales tactics so I appreciated his straightforward manner. And I found his low-key demeanor helpful in getting me through the whole process as car leasing/buying is usually very stressful for me. I was also impressed with (finance manager) Bianca White. She explained everything quickly, but thoroughly, making it a painless process as well. I kept waiting for the ??other shoe to drop?? but it never did. No high pressured sales pitches here. I highly recommend this dealership and look forward to visiting their service dept. too.

Then the moment of truth: will Jordan and Safi (a great manager and a man of his word) beat the lowest price in all of L.A.? By now you've guessed that they did, but
the no hassle, no haggle manner in which they did it was very impressive. I can't promise your experience will be the same however, I am confident, after dealing with every Lexus dealership in LA ex-Keyes (Ilya, what happened buddy?) that there is a huge disparity in the Relative BS Factor (RBSF) between Jim Falk Lexus (specifically: Jordan, Safi and Kathryn) and the other dealerships. Kathryn in finance was great as well. She has a straight forward pitch that I appreciate. Best of many experiences I've had at a car dealership and frankly, I was expecting a nightmare because you really piss peopleoff when you shop around over the phone (a livid manager at Santa Monica Lexus made this clear, like I shouldn't care about getting a good deal). Also of note: Wally at SM Lexus was great to deal with as well but I didn't want to buy from a manager that's gonna yell at a customer, on principal.

Also, Jordan knows a lot about the navigation system and has helped me out many times since we bought. Instead of being annoyed he seems to enjoy helping.

I wanted a SPECIFIC LX with everything in it and Blaine Gray found it for me - then kept up updated on the delivery date and was HONEST about everything from the very first moment we spoke. True professionalism and terrific to work with. My own dealership where I live (Las Vegas) would not even LOOK elsewhere for the TOP OF THE LINE, FLAGSHIP vehicle (I was told that the LX 570 is their flagship vehicle) - I was given the info on 2 vehicles they had and that was basically it. So, their loss!!

Anyway, in dealing with Blaine Gray my sales person and Kathryn Marenzi who phoned me to go over some of the finance details, as well as Bianca White who sat down and spent about 15-20 mins with us regarding the lease - financing with us, I would NOT hesitate to recommend Jim Falk Lexus as well as our salesman Blaine Gray (who is a very nice person and very personable as well as honest and reminds me of Howie Mandel - certainly not a bad thing) to anyone and everyone. We plan on returning in 3 years for our next Lexus at that time. Thanks to a terrific team of individuals all working together in a cohesive group to make our Lexus lease (first one at that) a very positive experience.

In order to avoid numerous trips to Beverly Hills, I was able to take the new car home, drop off the old wheels the following day, and Blaine delivered my aftermarket ones to me. Pulling out of UCLA after my minor procedure my wife wanted to stop at a Lexus dealer in Sherman Oaks on the way home. I suggested we go to the Lexus Dealer in Beverly Hills since we were so close. "Beverly Hills--Are you crazy they will be expensive and too exclusive for us," was her response. That comment did remind me of an old Jack Benny TV show from the 1950's where he said, "Beverly Hills is so exclusive even the Police Department has an unlisted telephone number." But, we agreed to drive to Jim Falk Lexus.

Well, our thoughts of exclusive went out the door when we met Stuart Hicks, a Sales and Leasing Consultant. He greeted my wife and started a dialogue trying to capture her needs and wants. We were looking for a RX400h. Stuart left for a moment and returned very soon with a document showing three such cars coming available that afternoon. He gave us the particulars on each, and really walked us thru the advantages of the Lexus over the other candidate we were thinking about, the ultimate driving machine??s SUV??s. His explanation of the certified process made good sense. Both my wife and I have been in sales for decades and we impressed that Stuart only spoke in positive terms about his product, while not putting down his competition.

When we said we were interested in one particular 2007 RX400h, he made a call to his prep people to see how soon before the car could be delivered to the Wilshire location. Stuart took our cell phone number and suggested we go have lunch. Within 90 minutes of our departure, Stuart called to report he went and personally picked up the car for us, and it was back at the showroom. My wife and I finished our lunch and returned to the dealership.

Stuart met us with that great smile and his southern charm and took us to out see the car. As we exited into the parking lot, we saw a black SUV that we both walked right by thinking it was a new 2010. Stuart said where are you going-- this is it. We were both in shock. The exterior paint was in perfect condition, the black leather interior was also pristine, and looked like it had never been sat on. It was love at first sight.

After a short test drive, we decided this was the car for us. Keep in mind it was now three hours after my surgery, the numbing agents were wearing off. I was not in terrible pain, but couple it with the fact that negotiating to buy a car is a pain to begin with, and you can see our situation. Well, I can say that Stuart and his management staff were extremely easy to deal with. They over allowed on our trade, made some adjustments to the price of the RX, offered us very attractive financing and an extended amount of months to pay, and that made it possible to close the deal.

We then were introduced to Orod Makou, the Finance Manager. Again, he was extremely professional as he walked us through extended warranties, other options, and the piles of documents we had to sign. When we declined something, he went onto the next. There was no pressure to purchase anything, something that happened when we purchased a car from another dealer in 2004. We left with a full tank of gas, a very extensive walk through of the vehicle??s bells and whistles by Stuart, and the feeling that we made the right decision. Even though the dealership is 25+ miles from home, we plan to return there for periodic service and to visit with the great staff.

My husband was dreading the negotiation process because he had worked with Keyes for more than four hours to get the numbers where he was comfortable. I called Keyes to speak with the salesman who sold us the car to see if there was a way to get the same deal and avoid all the hassle. But that salesman was no longer there and they said I'd have to speak with a manager. I left word for one but after a few hours I gave up and called Jim Faulk. A manager named Safi took my call and I explained the situation. He asked me to come in and said to bring the lease agreement for the car we got from Keyes and he'd take care of us. One week later we showed up and asked for Safi. He remembered my call and set us up with a salesman named Dale, while he looked over the lease agreement we brought. Dale took us to the Lexus lot and spent hours with us, running around and opening up every car we asked him to. Dale had been with Lexus Service department for years so he knew the cars like the back of his hand and he showed us all sorts of things the IS250 had in it that the other dealer never showed us. We knew more about the car in five minutes with Dale than driving it for the two months we had it! He was never pushy, just eager to make us happy. It was a great experience. Then, after choosing the car, he brought us back to Safi, teh part we were dreading. To our sweet surprise, Safi simply said he'd honor the original contract, no negotaition needed. We met Bianca in finance and she had us in and out in ten minutes and was informative and kept it entertaining. I cannot vouche for any other salesmen at Jim Faulk, but I can tell you that Dale and Safi are wonderful, honest and eager to get you in the car you want at a price you are happy with. Well I drove all the way from L.A. to Newport only to be treated rudely and the car had a rip in the passenger's seat. Really?? Then I saw a great Lexus advertised at Mission Viejo, again drove down even further and AGAIN I was treated rudely. I was seriously beginning to think the sales agents were lacking some type of mineral in their drinking water b/c I could not believe the bullying tactics by not only the salesperson but their manager Mike. He was a jerk. No hard working woman would never allow anyone to bully her into making a big ticket purchase.

So finally I gave Jim Falk a chance and to my surprise all three staff members I worked with was INCREDIBLY patient. From my initial contact, Michael Herredia to Brent Turner and to my new friend Orod in their finance dept. I was positive Lexus couldn't beat the rate my bank was offering (the other 2 Lexus dealership offered me a much higher rate and didn't even run my credit) but sure enough my friend Orod not only beat the rate but gave me even a better one.

Please trust this review, I am saving you all the hassle of going to 2 different dealerships in Orange County. Especially for women (and guys who love the women in their lives), please don't waste your valuable time like I did going to Newport or Mission Viejo. It was a smooth process, we told them what we wanted to pay including tax and title and they made it happen, no problems, no lengthy back and forth, just done, this is the price and the car is sold. It was almost too easy.

The turn signal went out on the car the first week, we took it in and they got it taken care of, no problems. They didn't try and charge us, just fixed it. While the car was being repaired we drove one of the newer IS 250, WOW, those are nice. I know my girlfriend fell in love with that car, i think she was sad to give it back. When we are ready to upgrade and purchase our next car it will be from here and most likely a Lexus. These guys were great and made buying a car easy and worry free by taking care of the customer. We even had the finance guy contact us a week after our purchase to see how everything was. Excellent service!

She did not pressure me into buying the "extras". Although there were tons of documents to sign, she was very efficient and her great sense of humor made the task a breeze. I wanted an attractive looking hybrid and only this location was able to provide the car I wanted (HS 250h) at a price I was willing to pay. After we came to a mutually agreeable price, they worked with me on the financing side. Orod answered all my questions regarding the financing terms and calculations and explained everything I was signing to my satisfaction. Sergio spent a good bit of time going over all the features of the car (there are a lot!) and let me keep my old car there overnight to pick up the next day. The process took a lot longer than I had anticipated (luckily they provided me good coffee), but then again, I wasn't really planning to by a car that day. I was just happy with the deal I got and didn't want to prolong the process anymore by passing it up.
