Me and my buddies go bowling almost every weekend. We especially love the all nighter deals. I have read some bad reviews below but honestly, when you want someplace cheap you get what you pay for. It doesnt mean you can compare it with more expensive places. I was vary of this place but for $2.75 a game on a weekend night, what more can I ask for? The music isnt great but its bearable. Ok there was no one manning the bar/food stand and it was the in-house odd jobs guy who came to our help but who cares as long as I get my $3 beer. The toilets I agree looked like something out of the 1st SAW movie but oh well, atleast there was nothing nasty anywhere. Overall if I want something inexpensive on a weekend or a weeknight, il go here. If im in the mood to have a nice upscale evening with friends, I will go to Lucky strike in Hollywood.

Pros: Cheap bowling,cheap drinks

Cons: Average lanes, they take one shoe from your pair so that you dont steal their rental shoes!!!...unbelievable

This place is cheap, but you are really getting your money's worth. The bathrooms are the worst part. Worse than any gas station bathroom I have ever visited in my entire life! I am surprised it hasn't been closed the down!! They are also prejudice against anyone who is not asian. They told my family and I we could not drink any drinks (non alcoholic) when we saw plenty of people with drinks from outside. They also locked all the doors 10 minutes before closing which is a fire hazard. About 20 min before closing, they began mopping with chemicals that made me sick! I can't describe, in words, how bad it was, but let my experience serve as a lesson to all.

Pros: price

Cons: everything else

This is a ok bowling alley.... the lanes are aways dirty, and always way too dry or too oily. If you want a cheap bowling place, then go here. But if you want a bang for your buck, i'd look some where else. And don't get me started with there sound system!! Always way too loud and the speakers are always breaking/killing the music.

I admit it that the place isn't like a 20 star Hilton hotel or anything, but it is still a fun place to be at. Customer service was good and attentive to what I wanted. There is a bar / lounge area for 21 year olds, but I went in the early afternoon hours so I don't know what they serve.

Prices are reasonable, if not, the most cheapest in town. Shoe rental: $3.50 and $3.25 / game. I went with one of my friends and we ended up paying $20 for four games + shoe rental (two rounds total). My arm is extremely sore yet I had an extremely fun time even though I am a beginner.

I don't know what Michelle U. was talking about. Cosmic bowling are on Friday / Saturday nights. All they really do extra is shut off the regular lights and turn on the neon lights. (that's what the cashier lady told me)

*Prices mentioned above was played on a Friday before 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM, I think it was a 50 cent - $1 extra charge.

Also note, they open a little late (1:00 PM on fridays) and on other afternoons, pretty similar hours; however, they open until very late (2:00 AM or similar).

PROS: Able to bring outside food (Hint: Quickly is right next door ;) )
CONS: Building is a little run down, but it's okay.

Alhambra Bowling Center may be crumbling, but the price and customer service is remarkable. The lady that runs the cash register is upbeat and friendly, always one to make conversation and the prices are unbeatable. Many schools host their fundraisers there and is one of the hottest places to be for students.

Alhambra Bowling Center isn't as nice as larger bowling chains but since they're the only lanes in Alhambra, one has no choice. The place is usually empty during the day but can get pretty crowded at night. Tuesdays offers very cheap bowling at $2.50 a lane plus shoe rental. The place seems a bit ancient as the quality of the shoes, the balls, and the lanes is mediocre. They do have a disco ball with flourescent lighting that gets turned on during Friday and Saturday nights. The food there isn't that great, but it's edible. Inside, there's also a rather expensive and limited bowling shop. There are plenty of parking spaces though.

Alhambra Bowling Center is a great bowling alley. This bowling center has many lanes and there are usually 5 lanes open. This bowling alley like all the others has bumpers so the children can play. They also have an arcade with some great games. This bowling alley also has a snack stand where you can buy nachos and drinks.

There are plenty of lanes but there are nothing special about the place. It looks like just any other bowling alley when I went with my friends. It doesn't appear to have cosmic bowling during weekends, so that was a disappointment. The prices are decent.

this place has been around for ages. The lanes, shoes, balls, and decor reflects their long lasting endurance. The workers are very cordial, however. They seem to always abide to the 'service-with-a-smile' motto. the prices are decent and the wait is pretty non-existant. The neon lights are always an additional plus. I always go with friends, and they are what makes this place fun. It's all about the company, not the enviornment.

Alhambra Bowling Center is not the newest or most up-to-date bowling center in the around but it gets the job done. It is the run-of-the-mill ordinary bowling alley. The parking lot is not that spacious, shared with other small shops. There are a lot of restaurants around it as well so if you work up a sweat after bowling for a while, you can pick and choose-- japanese, pho, etc. While it is not the most up to date bowling center, it is cheap and inexpensive. A great, inexpensive date or time out with the family.

PROS: Inexpensive, central location, easy to find
CONS:

This place is such a cool little hidden gem. First of all, they have special rates from 1.50 to 2.00 a game at peak times (usually my peak time is at nite before 12). Cheap drinks also. It's not the ritziest place in the world, but I usually like my bowling alleys like I like my women, cheap and trashy. I bowled 5 games last night and had 4 drinks and only spent about $23. However, its best to call ahead and make sure there's no league playing and find out the special rates.

Pros: cheap, close to csula

This Place looks like its in desperate need for a renovation. The floor is starting to show its age, and the machines break down occasionally. It does however offer very reasonable pricing(maybe the CHEAPEST PRICE) specially at night. The store is nottoo well supplied and sometimes unstaffed. The food is not good in there, but the alley's location is not too far from Chinese restaurants that open late.

Clubbing without a dancefloor or a dj, just lots of lanes, colorful balls, good food and service and a good time. Reasonable prices all around. Usually not too long of wait to get some lanes. Shoes are ok.

Great fun for the family. My daughter loved the bumper bowling. The service is terrible - one guy behind the counter - who also doubles as the snack bar cashier. But the enviroment is decent and they also do midnight bowling, where everything glows in the dark and they play music. Great fun.... just be patient!
