Very nice place to go and have a relaxing game. It's great for family and friends to go and have a hang out time. I recommend this place.

This golf course really upped its game after Tiger Woods played it a couple years back. I had the opportunity to play it 3 months after and the course was pristine.

Not only are the greens, fairway, and rough up-kept but the course is challenging.

I recommend this course to the intermediate to advanced player looking for a challenge.

Just recently played in a charity golf tournament at Harding park and was blown away. I regularly play the Olympic Club and this course is right up there. The grounds are spectacular. The only problem was a servers in the restaurant, she ignored us for a long time

This is a gem of a course. My buddies and I play it regularly...if your a SF resident with a resident card you can play for just over $40. The new club house is beautiful and I can't wait for the Presidents Cup coming up in November. If it's anything like the AMEX cup held here a few years back all golf lovers are in for a real treat. I love this place.

I remember when Harding Park could be played on weekends for 10 dollars. No, not in 1955, this was about 7 years ago, before the 16 million dollar remodel. The consensus among the hard core golfers who braved the near ankle deep "fairways" then was that Harding was a gem waiting for a haircut and a facelift. Well, 16 mill and a WGC tourney later, the course is reborn and, yes, it is what we thought it could be - a fabulous, tradtional style layout worthy of PGA tournament play. Problem is, it is overrun with play, so the conditioning is still a problem, although not to the extent it was back in the days of 18 temporary greens. The City does not return the green fees money to the course, instead, it pimps it out for money for street repairs, etc. The poor course maintenance reflects this, unforturnately. Also, the triple digit green fees make me nostalgic for the only ten dollar entertainment in S.F. If you are in the City for a vacation, it is worth playing once, or if you have a resident card, ok. Otherwise, too pricey and overrun to make regular stop out of it.

This is a great place to golf and all of my golfing friends agree. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is friendly. The green is always clean and kept in great shape. The rates are competitive and reasonable and it doesn't ever seem very crowded. Staff always open to suggestions and special requests. Very relaxing place to golf.

PROS: great environment, clean, friendly
CONS: none

Harding Park Golf Course is a good place to play golf in San Francisco. Although the prices here has gone higher because of the new renovation, it is a good place to relax, enjoy playing golf, and have tons of fun. I remember Tiger Woods playing here a year ago. The greens are well conditioned and the rough is thick the way you like it. This place is well managed.

I started playing golf in high school and went to harding park. The place is very nice well maintained and fun to play at. I would recommend going there if you live in San Francisco and very nice place to play some golf and have a good time.

It's hard to say no to a 16 million dollar golf course. I like it here. My friends trip here on the weekends to relax on the greens, but be sure to bring a sweater. The terrain of the course itself is manageable and not too tricky, which is a relief if you're a little clumsy or less skilled than Tiger Woods. I think golfing at the Harding is surely a better way to spend time than watching The O.C.

This ia an amazing newly renovated course, with reasonable access from the city of San Francisco or from the rest of the Peninsula (right off the 280 freeway).

It is a lot more expensive than before, but well worth it because of all the improvements made. Pony up and buy the San Francisco residents card to get the discount. It will pay for itself after just a few rounds.

For those of you not familiar with the Sunset District, be warned - it can get very chilly, windy, and un "sunny" in the Sunset District, so dress appropriately.

I love coming here with my husband. It is beautifully landscaped, very green, and relaxed environment. Great place for those golf lovers. Perfect location for those in the San Francisco bay area. Great getaway and afterwards you can go get a nice dinnerin the area.

Beautiful, newly renovated golf course. Greens are nice, rough is thick. City of SF invested $16M to renovate and they are hosting the 2005 AMEX PGA event. Green fees are reasonable for locals, about $46 with a SF resident card. Highly suggest getting the resident card.
