Your local greasy spoon where you sit at picnic tables with other people. Food is what you would expect at a diner.

The best place for family and friends. The John Wayne breakfast is good anytime of the day. Daily specials that make you cry for seconds (and sometimes thirds).

This was my first time and found the food to be blah. I ordered the Joe's Special: Scrambled (your choice of style on the eggs, mine was scrambled) home style potatoes, open face biscuit, sausage patty, and gravy on top. Everything tasted exactly the same...potatoes tasted like the biscuit tasted like eggs tasted like gravy tasted like sausage. I am from the South and my ears perked up when I saw biscuits and gravy. I could not get enough salt and pepper to cure this mess. Coffee was abit like brackish water...not much flavor. No one bothered to stop by to see how everything was.

Pros: quick and inexpensive

Cons: food quality, parking, cramped

The food at Joes is very good, or at least the breakfast is. That's all I have eaten there. The eggs over easy and biscuits and gravy are the best. However, I do not like the seating arrangements. It's like everyone is suppose to know each other and sit at the same picnic table. It's odd, and I like to sit next to my friends, not strangers.

I found this place by accident, but am I glad I did. It's not charming, it's not elegant, not fancy. Everyone sits a communal type tables and orders up. You get a carafe of coffee (if that's what you want) and a good menu. Lot's of local flavor, lot's of regulars that know each other and know the wait staff (always a good sign). Th server kept checking on me regularly. By breakfast was very good, surprisingly good. So good food, good prices and a funky good time.

Eat at Joe's is the best breakfast place I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. You can't go wrong with Joe's special (sausage patties on homemade biscuits covered with gravy and two eggs any style). Another favorite is the Mad Dog special which is basically last nights dinner special (ex: steak tips) made into a delicious omelete. Eating at Joe's is also quite an experience given its communal style seating and the wide array of condiments on every table (ie 5 different types of hot sauce, peppers, pickles as well as traditional condiments). If you are in the area you MUST GO TO JOE'S.
