Macys

Macy's is a great huge department store. They have tons of great stuff for your house and family. They have fragrance, clothes, kitchen and bath stuff, and much much more. They have great sales on those holiday occasions. Other than that, everything is retail, which is too expensive for some people.

Its really really big and many people come here to shop. It gets soo crowded especially holidays and weekends. Service is good theres always there willing to help but sometimes they lost track because theres just too many people that need help but still very good.

Located right in the main shopping area of San Francisco this place is big. Theres two seperate building one contains Mens Clothing / Young men and across the street is the Womens, houseware and jewelery.

The items tend to be extremely marked up in price and only during one of their multiple sales become decently priced. It is nice that the clothing is divided by brand so you can easily go to the brand you normally wear and find it.

The sales staff are a little 'stuck up' and seem to eye you like your going to run out the store with their merchandise but sometimes you can find a good deal.

PROS: wide selection
CONS: Not the best value for money

Theres a lot of floors to this macys! Theres about 8 floors wirth of stuff! IT gets really crowded over the weekends so it can be hard to find a sales person to help you out. The people are nice there though. The macys is huge and carries top of the line items. On top of macys is the cheese cake factory! Around macys has many other enjoyable stores like banana republic, urban outfitters, fcuk, borders, niketown, etc. You won't be disappointed with this Macys.

This store is big big BIG and it can be really crowded and, therefore, tough to get the attention of a good salesperson (I'm not really sure that there are good salespeople here) but the selection is pretty good and they carry lots of reputable lines and have a good assortment of stuff. Their sales can be fantastic. It is just not very 'upscale' and the shopping experience can be underwhelming. Hed to Neimans or Saks if you want more individual attention and top-notch customer service. If you want to save some money, then shop here

Macy's Union Square is a destination shopping spot. It's main store is huge and upscale. Its men's store also has several floors. They have frequent sales and coupons in the newspaper, but prices can still be steep. The junior's department has many different brands such as XOXO and Polo. Service is nothing special. The Confetti Cafe is a nice place to go for a shopping break.
