To begin with, I love the 99 cents only chain. It's refreshing to have a 99 cent store where everything is actually 99 cents.

The stores are always clean, organized, and well-kept, and the Bristol Street location in Santa Ana is no exception.

I go there frequently to purchase household staples - food, cleaning products, and other goodies.

The frozen and refrigerated foods section at this location is not as extensive as the one on Harbor Blvd, but the canned goods, cleaning products, and and dry goods sections are excellent.

You do have to be a little careful - some products that you get for 99 cents here (or 2 for 99) can actually be gotten cheaper elsewhere, or you can get better quality goods, but this is rare. For instance, I never buy paper towels, milk, or toilet paper at 99 cents only - but I buy canned veggies, spaghetti sauce, rice, noodles, cleaners, and many kitchen implements.

This chain of stores has got to be my favorite of all time.

And this particular store always amazes me - even with the incredibly high traffic, the store is always clean and well-maintained, and the cashiers are efficient and courteous.

PROS: lives up to its name - 99 cents only
CONS: limited selection of frozens foods

This is the best 99 cent store in my area. I come here at least once a week to buy miscellaneous items. We all know that everything is 99 cents and under. But I like this store because it's clean. They always have new items for me to try. And they even have a seasonal aisle so I can always buy seasonal items for only 1 dollar. I have no complaints.

PROS: very clean, cheap.
CONS: none
