YUM I like this place. Margi's and food are great and the price is right. If you don't like a chocolaty cinnamon based red sauce i'd shy away from their red sauce and get the green but other than that it is delish!! I get the chile relleno and carne asada taco and you can't beat it. I say they have the best chile relleno I've ever had. You walk in seat yourself and you can stay for hours without being bothered by the staff aside from them coming to check to see if you need anything. The beans and rice and authetic and so TASTY!! Meals are served with your choice of soup or salad, I get the salad with the house dressing and its very refreshing. Chips and salsa and yummy and they are willing to give you as many refills as your heart desires. The staff is very friendly and give you a warm family run restaurant feel. If you are stuck in the Celia's and Chevy's rut I highly recommend you give this place a shot...the price is right and the food will speak for itself. I believe they have live music on Friday nights and I hear its loud but lots of fun although I haven't been because I typically dine there for lunch with friends.

It's clean! The people are very friendly and the service is very good. The chips were fresh, salsa was perfect. The food was very good. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend, if you feel like Mexican.

I haven't eaten there yet but my sister is big fan of Mexican Food and very picky. She referred me to this restaraunt and says the service is just good as the food

I heard that they give you more for your money..The plates are big and the price is affordable...I can't wait to go and have a margarita..I can't wait to go there.

this place has super yummy food at a reasonable price. the service was great, and the tunes were very nice too!

this place is great. the margaritas are tasty (and reasonably priced) and they had live music when we were there which made the experience that much better. the food not only tasted good but looked phenomenal! they have parking in the back but only maybe 6 spots. i was lucky enough to get one but was unlucky enough to have someone park behind me and trap me in! it wasn't a big deal. the waitress found the driver right away and i was on my merry way as quick as i can say "rancho las trancas"! definately go here...

This place rocks i highly recommend it, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Try the seafood plates they are so good...oh yeah and they have a full bar hehehe

Las Trancas has very friendly people and a great atmosphere. They have a man who plays keyboards sometimes. The red enchilada sauce is a little wierd, kinda tastes like cinnamon.

PROS: Goo people
CONS: Salad is not good

When you get tired of places that are not really Mexican in atmosphere, you might try this humble, but medium-sized, place. It's very authentically Mexican in atmosphere, although the food is typical of Mexican style as we find it in the US. Since it's Mexican, kids and babies are welcome.
