This is one of the greatest places to eat. Great food and big portions. Their Mango salmon is delicious. They have big selection of dishes and their sauses are very rich and flavorful. I am of hispanic decent and at times is hard to order but so far I have not been disappointed. Menu is in english as well but sometimes I am scared of what I will get but I am introducing myself to more dishes worth the risk. Parking can be hard to find but no big deal- you can use the walk after you are done with their food. So, there is no minus there.

Pros: Great food at a great price

Cons: If you are not familiar with their food - you may see the plate and wonder what you got.

I love this place ! This is the place to go when you want to eat chicken because practically every dish contains chicken ! The service is okay. The place is usually really crowded so the waiters / waitresses do not get to your table as fast.

The food is not even that good. The service sucks and the wait for food is time consuming. It's not worth going there. Don't ever order the fillet mignon cubes, it's disgusting - the sauce is gritty.

I come here only for thier rotisserie chicken. You can't ask for much...under $6 you get half a chicken (or was it a quarter, anyways it is a big portion), a side, and your choice of rice or spaghetti. The chicken is moist and flavorful and quite odd to find such good chicken at Hong Kong Style Cafes. Although this is a Hong Kong Style Cafe I feel that it is a little different compared to ABC or Garden Cafe perhaps due to their succulent chicken.

We like to come here when we just want to grub on good portions from a variety of cuisines. They have your typical dishes...such as chow fun or various rice dishes, but then they also offer steaks and rotisserie chicken. All in all, we've had good eating experiences here. Generally, I tend to stay away from the pasta and pizza dishes, so I can't say much about that. You're obviously not going to get Morton's or Lawry's level of meat, but you definitely get hot, tasty food well worth what you pay.

Besides visting my god sister in the area, this is another must go restaurant for Hong Kong style cusine. Where else can you go for their delicious filet mignon? Unlike other high price steak house, they can serve the exact "Medium Rare" steak that I really like. On top of that, their spaghetti mixed with the special tomato sauce can make my mouth drooling. After that, enjoy a cup of Hong Kong style milk tea and watch a little TV, if not enough, ask for refill for no charge. All of these for merely around 10 bucks? Where else can you find it in bay area.

Pros: Open late, good food, many tables

Cons: Not enough parking, too many good food to pick...headache

The food (most of it) is superb! Most of the menu consists of items you'd never imagine to see in a HK Style cafe. The atmosphere is similar to an upscale sports bar. Multiple TVs and a single large projector is available for watching games. The wait-staff, however, has much to be desired. On occassion, you will find a great waiter that will run back and forth for you... but you'll regularly get one of the lazy ones. Depending on the night you go, parking could be extremely difficult to obtain!!

Pros: Upscale types of food, Low Price, High Value, Open until 1AM

Cons: Small parking lot, Lazy wait-staff

This place has a very nice setting and atmosphere. Its usually dim, which accented lights to warm up the room. They also have a tv for you to enjoy. The food here is really good! I usually order the seafood platter which runs about $10 I believe. However, the service is terrible, they always get orders wrong, and they get mad about it. But if your looking for good food, and willing to pay a little bit more, you should give this place a try.

This cafe was introduced to me by a friend and I am definitely coming back! The service was decent and the waiters weren't rude, even when we pointed out to them that they messed up our order. I had the korean short ribs and chicken steak, which I definitely recommend. Even though I ate the whole thing in one sitting, I was so satisfied and full that I skipped dinner that night. There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is roomy. It was definitely affordable.

It is probably one of the better cafes on Valley Blvd. It is priced decently, not too expensive and the food is good. The chicken is never dry. Nothing ever burnt and they give you big portions. They have lots of employees. The only downside to the place is that they need more parking space, but you can either park in the parking lot that they have or on the residential street. Either way, it has never been a difficulty finding parking. I would recommend the baked seafood. Tastes really good, they give you a lot and the price is cheap for seafood. Good place for lunch. Enjoy!

Contrary to the first review, I have to say that the restaurant isn't so bad--compared to many other Hong Kong-style Western food. For those who are used to the "traditional" Asia + American fusion, this is a slightly different style that is common place in HK. The place serevs mostly Chinese (Hong Kong) customers, and they (we) love the food there. So it really depends on what your taste is. If you happen to love HK-style Western food, Baccali is a good place for dinners, which is not terribly expensive

What can I say expect this place pretty much sucks. The wait for them to take your order is ridiculous. The table next to our's who arrived later had their order taken before our's and got their food before we did. The service is just slow and the servers are rude. I ordered a pasta with clams and the clams were so teeny tiny and the sauce was too watery. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

From the outside, Baccali Cafe Rotisserie looks elegant and inviting. It's almost like an expensive Steakhouse. Stepping inside, the place looks clean and lively, even innovative compared to most Chinese restaurants. Once the waiter hands you a menu.. poof! Like Cinderella's carriage turning back to a pumpkin, the magic disappears. Baccali serves Asian and American fused together, some of the worst food I've tasted. I ordered a "vegetable pizza," which was topped with odd baby corn and snow peas. A 20 minute wait and still the cheese slides off when you want to take a bite. Baccali also serves gooey, heavy creamy laden pastas with chunks of salmon or chicken. Not appetizing. This place had so much potential; alas, bad food is still bad food in a nice dining room. (Note: The probable reason why Baccali looks so nice is because the previous restaurant in its location was a steakhouse.)
