North Hollywood Animal Care

We recently moved to the area and needed a regular vet. We had been using a low cost clinic but there is no personal involvement at a place like that. So when one of our cats became sick I immediately began a long online search for local vets. A big plus was that out of almost all places I called the center had the lowest prices for almost all services. If you own pets you know what I mean about the overinflated cost of vet visits (much less shots, medication or surgery!) The doctor was very nice and has been there a very long time, infact her father ran the practice before she took over! She was very gentle with our cat (it's amazing how many vets & techs you meet who are so rough and uncaring with animals - makes you wonder what they are doing in that field..) She was very knowledgeable without being condescending and gave us many alternatives to help our cat. She had a great personality and I found her very likable. They also board animals which is great for when Christmas comes around. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a regular vet who is kind and caring. As well as going to a place that doesn't try to overcharge you for everyhing.
