HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Screaming match horrible. I gave them very specific direction on a very simple alteration that i needed done to my winter coat. Simple alteration gone completely wrong lead me to get the entire coat completely relined. Not only did they not follow direction but the quality of work was extremely sloppy. So bad that the people selling me the lining and my trusted tailor (the one I should of went to to being with) couldn't believe it and laughed. Looked like i did it myself. Yes they offered to re-line the coat to my satisfaction but that would be like getting food poisoning and going back for more. I couldn't trust their quality of work after that. They reimbursed me for having to get the coat relined by someone else after a several screaming matches. Horrible quality of work and horrible costumer service. I will never go again and no one else should risk any important garments with them either.

If you're looking for someone to take in a suit or do a simple hem for you, Sue's your gal. But DO NOT make the mistake of letting this lady construct something for you from scratch! I'm a bride to be and I went to her to make the skirt portion for my wedding dress. I explained in detail what I wanted, brought in pictures of exactly what I needed and even drew her sketches. In the end, the finished skirt did not resemble what I had commissioned her to make. I asked for two french bustles in the back and she gave me two giant and unflattering PLEATS. Before she started I dropped off the expensive silk fabric and asked that she provide the liner material and I'd reimburse her for it - she agreed, and yet in the end chose to use the $70 a yard Italian silk to line the thing (who does this?). Prior to securing her services I had asked if she had experience making wedding dresses. She said "yes". That's obviousy a giant lie as her shotty work made it quite apparent in the end. When I went in for a fitting and saw all the gross errors she made, I was in tears and she didn't even own up to the fact that she had completely messed up my skirt and now there wasn't even enough leftover material for her to try and fix it b/c the idiot has used it to line the piece. The next fitting I resolved to ask her to just finish the skirt even though it wasn't what I wanted and to add a built in slip at the bottom for no added cost as a sign of good faith and she had the nerve to tell me she'd do it for $50 more. ??!! At that point I was fed up and wanted the hell out of there. Oh, did I mention that at that last fitting there was a red stain that mysteriously appeared and when I pointed it out to her she said "that it was probably there from before" and she was reluctant to even have it dry cleaned for me. I couldn't (and still can't) believe how completely unprofessional she was. I landed up just having her finish the travesty of a wedding skirt and got out of there. Like the other reviewer stated - there's a language barrier. But I am actually the same ethnicity as she is but don't speak that well, but I even had people with me who spoke the same language. And yet she still managed to miss the mark completely. Long story short - use this lady if you have a very simple hem you need or a hole darned. Anything more complicated will only end in disaster. Save your money and your sanity and stay away from this lady. She doesn't take responsibility for her mistakes and she doesn't deserve to call herself a tailor. Period.

PROS: None.
CONS: Clothing construction from scratch is terrible. Language barrier.

Went in to have a dress made. Was quoted something completely different than what I was charged, and the communication barrier resulted in a garment I then had to take to ANOTHER tailor to have altered before I was remotely satisfied with it. Sue is a sweet woman, and quite possibly great at alterations, but I would not recommend this shop as a custom dress shop. The language barrier makes it difficult to assure that what you want is understood (which, in my case, it clearly wasn't) and the pricing far exceeds the quality.

PROS: Friendly woman
CONS: Sub-par service.
