Fisher Kristi Dvm - Serrano Animal & Bird Hospital

Boarded our dog for a week including a Saturday (she had surgery and several visits previous). My husband heard the same info I did...they would be open till 5:00 on a Saturday and if no one was at the front desk, techs would be in the "back". We were returning from the Coachella Valley at 11:00AM and got a cell phone call...they were closing at 1PM and if we didn't pick her up, we'd have to wait till Monday!! I asked for the vet to call me back - waited 45 min. and never did. I had to call THEM back. They were adament about closing and not willing to help resolve the situation. They insisted on payment before they would release our dog. I offered to come in Monday and pay and that was not acceptable. We had to pull off the freeway to get a land line to give credit card number so our son could get the dog by 1PM. I will absolutely NEVER go back there. We already had concerns because of such a confused atmosphere at the front desk when we had been in before...this just confirmed it. Too bad...the vets are nice.

This vetenary is one of the best. They have all in house everything. X rays, Blood lab, fecal and urine lab. They provide grooming and baths also. They are certified as people being able to take in exotic animals. Dr Weldy has a rehabilitation facility for Birds of Pray. This is just some of his various qualifications in his resume. They also have boarding

PROS: Very experience Doctors, 3 doctors on staff, own lab and xrays
CONS: Non that I know of
