JAMI ROCKS!! I have been going to Jami for over 15 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is SO accommodating and always up to date w/the new trends out there. I had my hair all different colors, shapes and lengths and I always had a stack of her business cards to pass out when I got a new style because people would stop me just to ask, every time!!!!

I got a gift certificate to go to Dolphin Hair Design, so that is what brought me in. A friend of mine went to her and knew I was looking for a new salon. She bought me the gift cert. Jami's professionalism, skills and personality is what keeps me coming back....about 8 years or so now...
Go to Jami...you won't be sorry!

I (well...my daughter) went to Melissa. She gave my daughter extensions. Matched the color perfectly and also matched her curl pattern. You can't even tell where her hair stops and the extensions begin.

I had the worst touch up basic blonde highlighting job of my life and I looked like a rainbow! So I went online trying to look for something open on a sat at 6pm but every salon was close...I got lucky and called Dolphin and Monique took me in at 7pm...this was my first time there and she made my hair look 100% better! I have a lot of hair and I wasn't out of there until 11pm! That's to cool! This place is so comfortable, No snooty hairstylists! I was on the verge of giving up coloring my hair because nobody could do a decent job.But I found my hairstylist! FINALLY!! She knows what she is doing, my hair is perfect now! Plus she has an awesome personality. You can't go wrong with her!

No one touches my hair but Janis! I used to drive to Los Angeles from the OC to get my haircut, because I could not find someone as skilled as my longtime Japanese stylist. Then I found Janice! - She has an amazing ability to make my hair perfect every time. Her precision cuts actually get better as your hair grows out, because of her attention to detail when cutting your style. She has very thorough communication skills that translates to the perfect haircut. I always get comments on my hair and am very frequently asked who styles it. I will never stray.
You can refer friends and family with confidence - as I have over the years!! :)~

I've been getting highlights for 15 years, and Monique is - hands down - the very best colorist I have ever had! I have blond hair, and I finally have the perfect shade. Every single hair on my head looks good when Monique gets done. This salon has a very friendly atmostphere where you can have a glass of wine, chat with everyone there and get an amazing haircut and color. You can't beat the experience! Also, you can't beat the prices compared to other salons in Newport Beach. My husband also goes to this salon, and he loves it, too. Jamie also rocks! Love this place, would highly recommend.

I recently went to Dolphin Hair Design in search of a new look for myself. My hair has always been fine, limp and lifeless and I wanted a style that gave me volume and personality. Cara Rousseau turned out to be my stylist and I could not have asked for anyone better. She did exactly what I wanted and gave me the cutest, sexiest, stylish hair cut I had ever received. She listened to what I said and then just created, I loved it. I have never been happier. My hair is thick and full and easy to fix. If you are looking for a new hairstyle but are somewhat hesitant, Cara is the way to go. She is brilliant when it comes to examining your facial features and body and knowing what hairstyle would look good on you. I give Cara and Dolphin Hair Design two VERY ENTHUSIASTIC THUMBS UP!!

I just moved here from Oregon to go to school and I was really nervous to get my hair done. I've been going to the same woman for years up in Oregon and I felt very convinced that I wouldn't be able to find anyone that could do my hair the way I like it as well as she could. I am a natural brunette, but I like my hair really blonde. If you are a blonde, you understand the work it takes to get there and not just anyone can make it happen. I've had many experiences where I've left crying so I was really nervous to try someone I didn't know. I have to say that I'm SO HAPPY I TOOK A CHANCE ON CARA!!!! She listened to exactly what I asked for and she made me feel COMFORTABLE when I told her how anxious I was. My hair was beautifully vibrant and blonde the way I like and the cut was exactly what I asked for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARA ROUSSEAU because she knows what she's doing and makes you feel comfortable in the process. Thank you CARA!!

At 47 years old I have received the best compliments of my life as a direct result from Caralee's service. Caralee is a combination of class, sincerity and talent. She has great instincts for color and her hair extension system keeps my hair healthy and truly beautiful. After 3 years of the best service I have ever received, I can truly say I have earned a friend and not just service. The best part of coming home from the shop is to see the look in my man's eyes. Hair is a womans crowning glory and she makes mine look like I should be shopping on Rodeo Drive or in a commercial for a convertible sports car. It's not just a look, it's a feel; I feel beautiful with her magic.

Monique is my stylist and i've been going to her for over a year now and have never been displeased. She is always up to date with my everchanging hairstyles and colors and she gives the best shampoo/scalp massages i've ever had. On top of the amazing service, the shop atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing with a wide variety of beverages to choose from ;]

I've been going to Melissa for about a year now, and my hair is the best it's ever been. She does such a great job on my highlights and cut, by far the best stylist I've ever been to. The salon is laid back and unitimidating, yet still very professional. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants their hair looking it's absolute best.

Three years ago I came to Caralee as a post chemo patient. At the time, my hair was 1 1/2 inches long. For the first time in months I felt like myself again. That was three years ago and I have never been happier. Caralee is an excellent colorist and stylist. The color is always consistent and I'm totally hooked on extensions. The best thing is that my own hair is growing out healthy and I will proabably always be a client. Caralee is always happy to work with my schedule and always on time and ready when I walk in the door.. She devotes each appointment to making sure her client is happy. I met Melissa soon after and she is excellent in her work as well. Together the girls make an unbeatable team. I look forward to every appointment.

I first got my extensions about a year and a half ago. I met CaraLee at a different salon. She is very dependable, great with extensions and color, and not one of those "tell me everything in your life" stylists. Thank God CaraLee and Melissa, her coworker, friend, and awesome with extensions too, left the freakishly sketchy environment at the previous location and now getting my hair done is even better. Dolphin Hair Design is the cutest salon thats easy to get to and operates very personably and professionally. I honestly look forward to getting my maintanence done and seeing the girls.

With the quality extensions and beautiful color she has transformed me from a shy wall flower into a confident person who feels good walking into a crowded room. Every woman knows how important their hair can be for that confidence boost. Melissa gave me that long, healthy hair I've always wanted.

Melissa and Dolphin Hair Design saved me! I got a really bad haircut from my former stylist and I was in tears. I thought it would take years to grow my hair back, but I really wanted long hair for my dream wedding on the beach. Melissa's beautiful, virgin hair blended so well with my own that none of my relatives knew it had been short only weeks before. Thanks to Melissa's talent my wedding photos turned out beautifully! Get ready for the paparazzi to follow you around! Caralee has such an amazing talent with cut, color and the most high quality hair extensions! The first time I went to see her, I was so depressed because another stylist cut my long hair off! Someone suggested I try extensions, so I went on a hunt to learn about EVERY possible way of having this done. When I finally came across Caralee and the method she uses - I knew I finally found my place. The extensions looked incredible and within eight months my hair grew out and looked better then ever! We took the extensions out and now she "trims" and keeps my color looking fabulous! She is very professional, her rates are more than fair and you'll feel like you have a friend for life! You'll walk out feeling like a million with your new look - and you WILL have to hide from the paparazzi! Enjoy!!!

Hairdresser Janis Torres can convert even a wild-haired Christopher Lloyd (as seen in Back to the Future) to a cool-looking Bill Murray. At least that's what my wife says whenever I return home after a Janis Torres cut.

For nearly 10 years now I have been going to Jamie and telling her to "do whatever....I don't care..." I do care, but no matter how she does it, I always leave feeling great. If not for Dolphin, I would still be shaving my own head whenever it is time for a haircut. All of the women I know who go to Dolphin love it as well.

The Staff at this salon are always warm and welcoming . All my friends go here to get there hair done , and they are always happy as am i. I would very much recommend this salon. I go to Jami , but i think all the girls there are good.

It is so wonderful going where you feel welcomed.
I love the way both ladies cut hair and Anca is a great colorist- I have yet to try Jamie , but my mo goes to her for cut and color and she looks great sooo I would HIGHLY recommed her

this is one of those places that has everything you can actually do to pamper yourself and look good. i actually spent a whole day here and got most of the treatments and services that they offered because i had a gift certificate. this place is awesome because it's like you can just go here and get everything you ever need instead of having to drive around and looking for places. very convinent. in addition to that, i thought the price was pretty fair compared to most places i've been to. i really like the idea of doing everything at once [hair, massage, nails, etc]. so this is totally the place for me!

This salon was awesome. Jamie did a fabulous job on my hair. She seemed very knowledgable about hair color and styling. She listened to my cares and concerns and the outcome was exactly what I was hoping for. If you're looking for a resonably priced salon that gives you more for your money and really cares about your needs, come to the Dolpin Hair Salon!!!
