Roadhouse Coffee Stop

Roadhouse is a great place to relax with a friend or get a little work done. They have excellent food and beverages, and is not as hectic as Starbucks. The staff is always friendly, too. It is clean, the service is great...I have never had a negative experience there!

If you don't want to support corporate stores like Starbucks, this is a good place to hangout, have some coffee or tea, and surf the interenet for free (BYOC: bring your own computer with wi-fi). The owner Carl takes great pride in his store, keeping it sparkling clean. His staff are generally friendly and courteous. The coffee quality is acceptable. They do offer sandwiches and pasteries here. Some items on the menu are quite good.

PROS: Friendly atmosphere, good service, free wi-fi
CONS: a bit too small but efficient layout

I like the atmosphere of Roadhouse, its a small mom and pop business. The owner actually works there, and is in there every morning, and very friendly. There is a regular clientele, that you get to know on a first name basis. They serve excellent coffee, at very reasonable prices, and they also have really terrific sandwiches.

I highly recommend them over the big companies! The only drawback is they keep very weird hours, that change often. They also have entertainment in there, and a story time for children.

PROS: family owned business
CONS: odd hours, close early

Excellent place with live music Thursday nights, espresso and non-coffee drinks, sandwiches & great snacks. The chocolate chip cappuccino bread is the BEST! I always stop for a few slices, or in some cases, theyve offered me the rest of the loaf! Try specialties such as a Cadillac or Milky Way drink.

PROS: Excellent specialty drinks and great snacks!
CONS: Closed early evening and all day Sunday

Great place to hang-out and surf the net. They don't charge for internet service, all you have to do is bring a wifi-enabled laptop and surf away. The people are great, the atmosphere is great, the coffee and snacks are great, this place simply is great. They have 5 to 10 tables, a bar area, and a couch area, plus outdoor seating, for those who take their cup-of-joe with a cig.
