Massage Therapy Ctr

I have known Body Therapy center for years now and had outstanding bodywork done here. These are the experts of massage therapy to go to. The quality is way above your standard massages you get anywhere these days. These are highly trained professionals. Sure if you want the bells and whistles of a spa this is not the one, but if you want quality massage with staff that understands your body this is the place. The owner is an amazingly talented and experienced massage therapist and has been in the business for many years, these are the experts to turn to when you want real massages.

I have been a client at Massage Therapy Center since 1997. At MTC I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse group of highly trained therapists that have been key in helping me keep my body fine tuned and pain free.

My love affair with this place started a long time ago. I am still so grateful for the massage I got after the birth of my first child. The deep work on my lower back really helped me recover from the pregnancy in a way that nothing else had.

This is professional massage at its best. Like so many people, my life is too full - children, business, home. The time that I can carve out to take care of myself is precious & is well spent here. These are well trained, professional therapists who really listen. I always walk away renewed in body & relaxed in mind.

Anything Lucia Miracchi sets her hand and heart to is destined to be special, including the love she has poured into making MTC a refuge and place of healing for so many.
MTC is an asset to the community as well as to the individuals who practice or receive services there.
Parking easy free and easy, and you can really make a day of Calif Ave, with its shops, galleries, bookstores, and---of course---a visit to MTC.

Over the last 2 years I have used Massage Therapy Center as the Go to place for body work. I have received massages from half a dozen therapists there and been satisfied each time. Ive come to learn that the owner, who has been a massage therapist herself for 30 years, takes an active and continuous role in maintaining the quality of her therapists and creating a supportive environment for clients. This is a place for body therapy and restoration not a spa massage with cucumbers over your eyes or the latest green tea mud wrap. You wont get a sloppy massage here. Dont waste of your time or money going anyplace else.

OK, I'm going to admit it, I'm biased about this place. I used to manage a massage school and have been worked on by the best massage therapists around. I know great massage. In my experience no other massage place gets close to the quality and detailed caregiving that I experience at MTC. The massage therapists at MTC set the bar very high, so high that when I get a massage anywhere else, I am always a bit disappointed. I also like knowing that the person who is taking such good care of me is also being paid well by the company. When I ran a massage school, it was my job to know where to send the best graduates and what places would pay them what they were worth. MTC has the best pay structure for their therapists of almost anyplace in the Bay Area and is meticulous about the skill level of who they hire. They always scooped up the best.

As a psychotherapist, I unwind and rejuvenate with skilled therapists and clean, well designed environment.

Excellent massage, professional front desk with live person and not an answering machine, relaxing decor, feels intimate, easy parking. Very happy with the total experience, have gone back several times. Their body workers staff is highly trained and offers many modalities.

I've been a client at the Massage Therapy Center for the last year. The service is top quality. It's a Zen environment and the therapists are all well trained.

I've worked with Lucia on multiple occasions. She uses a multi-discipline approach that includes Swedish, deep work, cranio-sacral and breath awareness. She's a master of all of them. She just "knows."

I love the added bonus of time in the sauna and a shower afterwards. It helps the experience last.

Body Therapy Center is a massage school, so you can purchase massages from a therapist who is still training for a significant discount over the "experienced practitioners." I've had massages from both types of practitioners, and I've been happy every time (and at $55 for an hour, the basic practitioners are a great bargain). Customers can also arrange for a free sauna at the same time as their massage.

My uncle went to a massage school here at the Body Therapy Center. He came out pretty knowledgable at the trade and always gives really nice massages. He has a large clientelle and thanks Body Therapy Center for his success.

The service at Body Therapy Center is impeccable. I had a Swedish massage done there and my therapist was great. It was so relaxing that I dozed off many times and after the massge, I felt great. The staff and friendly and professional and there is plenty of parking in the rear. Two thumbs up.
