San Ramon Valley Rotary Club held an event at the Canyon view dinning hall on May 30th 2009. This was an annual function promoting the Valley Teen Ideal. This was a repeat of the same function held last year in 2008.
The event had 280 guests. The canyon view dinning hall provided dinner for the guests. The dinner was excellent at a very reasonable price and the service was superb. The guest were very happy with the location and service that the Rotary club board decided to hold 2010 event also at the Canyon view dinning hall.
I highly recommend this sight for any private parties if one is looking for excellent service, good food and a very desirable location. Definitely a 5 star location with nothing like it in the area.

Without reservation I would rate The Canyon View 10 stars if that was possible. We just had my daughter's wedding there on Saturday, 5/2/09. Everything was wonderful. The ambiance in the room is unsurpassed; the view amazing. Sabera and her staff were wonderful. She was very helpful in the planning stages (even making suggestions to save us $$) and always there to answer e-mails and telephone calls. As a mom it meant a lot to me to feel as secure in this aspect of the planning. If she said she would do something it got done. She was there throughout the event and her staff was there for our every need.

We Had my sons birthday party at this hall, my wife and i are very happy ! Everything was done as expected and even more ! The owner was very helpful and gave us lots of referrals from designers to bands food was delicious the view is awesome!

This is the second year we are hosting a large fundraising event at this location. It has been a pleasure to work with Sabera (the owner) on both occasions. The venue is great: clean, elegant, warm and inviting and the views (especially at night) are fantastic. Sabera has been very professional and accommodating with all of our "out-of-the-ordinary" requests. Her pricing is simple, fair and straight forward. I truly appreciate working with her and recommend this for any style event.

Everyone at the Canyon View Place was amazing. We received the BEST service! service to our outstanding , everything was top notch. Many of our wedding guests complimented the hotel itself and the service that was provided for them. We have and will continue to recommend the Canyon View Place to everyone that is planning a wedding in the area or any type of event!

After reading these reviews, I decided to take a look at this venue myself for our wedding. The staff and wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and was professional at all times. We used to visit this venue when it was Faz and the remodeling they have done really shows off the view. The prices are reasonable and your get a lot of bang for a buck. Their fees are set which is nice to have a flat rate for budgeting purposes. They offer a lot. I would recommend this venue if you are looking for elegance.

Anyway, we booked our event for June 2010 and we are looking forward to it!

When I walked in the hall, I was impressed. Great views of the valley and the atmosphere is hip. I think I even heard they are going to do a jazz night, what a perfect place for this to happen.
