There is a reason why the alignment is so cheap. They only adjust the toe for the most part and tell you they can't do camber, unless you pay an extra $35/corner which is a load of BS. I just took my car in today and yes my car is lowered. The least they could do is adjust my factory camber bolt to get it as positive as they can. EVERY alignment shop will adjust as much as they can because it's part of the alignment, and its included in the price. They didn't touch my camber bolt one bit. I've been doing auto work for years now...but I guess because I look young, they underestimated me?

The price would have been attractive IF they did a good job. They also don't let you sit in the car, which is understandable since their insurance doesn't let people in the bay. HOWEVER...anyone who understands suspension geometry knows that once you sit in the car, your toe/camber changes so your alignment that you just paid for is useless.

It's okay because next time I'll gladly pay the $120 for a great alignment at Westend in Gardena. There is a reason why they have a 2 week waiting period...people keep on coming there because the one man behind the work is considered the best in socal.

On the other hand, they were good about fixing my parent's car when it didn't pass smog. They are a Gold Shield station so they are qualified to fix your car (with the government's aid to repair up to $500 worth). I will only go to them for the Gold shield service, but not alignment again. I can't comment on their other repair work because I've never had them to do anything for my car.

My Honda Accord 97 had Freon leak for about 2 years. I brought it to 4 or 5 different auto repair shops. They all tried this and tried that... But none of them could really fix it. Their excuses were the leaking hole was too small to detect.

In early 2005, I heard an ad on the radio, and brought my car to James. He put some kind of oil into the AC system, explaining that this would show where the leaking hole is. He re-filled the Freon and asked me to come back when my AC is not cold again. A couple of months later, I did come back when my AC stopped working as he told me. This time, he fixed within a couple of hours. And, miraculously, the AC works fine until this day. The cost is really minimal.

James is my best guy for AC job. Next time I will share with you about his fixing my oil leaking problem too. How amazing!

Please fill free to call me any more details about his quality and integrity.

went there for an alignment. took about an hour and a half since i previously took my truck off roading. the computer printout they gave me looked horrible. they fixed it well but i still had a tire pull. (not their fault) i just got new tires and after a year and a half, i brought the car to sears for an alignment check and they sent me home with no service because they said the alignment is still perfect. also did my 2 F. struts for about 180 cheaper than Toyota wanted. they have 2 locations. owned by the same. the mechanics work at both. both places are good. they remember me and i only come by 1-2 times a year.

James Auto Center probably has the best and cheapest computerized alignment for $20. However, if you go there on Wednesday, it only cost $10. I found them from a friend. They offer free towing if you are going to repair in their shop. The service is great and the mechanic is very honest. Highly recommend.
