El Taco

I grew up in Downey. El taco was and is the the best. El taco has the best green quesadillas. All the food is great. we need an El taco in long beach. PLEASE!!!

the red quasidilla is to die for.the bean burritos. i would be there everyday when i was growing up.i live in denver,colo now and people i know that is from LA,says the same thing.the one thing they miss is el taco.

I ate there few years ago. Looked them up on google just out of nostalgia.

They had pretty amazing food. I used to have veggie burritos. Still remember and crave for them.

El Taco, come to Texas. We need you guys here.

I now live in Colorado so i'm not able to get these unless I travel to Ca. or manage to get someone in my family to overnight me some!
I MUST find out what the ingredients are! I can't find it online, I swear, I'm gonna have these things taken to a lab to see what's in them! That oozing cheese and red meat sauce is SOO dang good!
I know that the taco sauce is made by Heinz, I gotta see if I can get that too! I use about 6 per quesadilla!
Oh, there is ALSO a El Taco in Phoenix, Arizona!!!! Who knew! I lived there for 11 months, and I accidentally drove by it, made a u-turn and within minutes, I was in Quesadilla heaven!!! Worth every cent!

The food here is THE BEST!!! I have been eating here since I was a kid living in Downey. I now live about 30 miles away and still come just for El Taco all the time. I'm not alone. The food is sooooooooo good. The quesadillas are truly legendary. My personal favorites are the taquito's and ground beef soft tacos also. I know people who have relatives ship El Taco to them in other states. I'm telling you if you are even near Downey, go, it's that good!!!

THE QUESADILLAS HERE ARE THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER TASTED. THEY ARE NOT FLAT LIKE THE USUAL QUESADILLA, BUT ARE MORE LIKE A BURRITO. THEY USE 2 OR 3 DIFFERENT KINDS OF CHEESE AND A DELICIOUS MEAT SAUCE OF SOME KIND AND THEY ARE ALWAYS PIPING HOT AND DELICIOUS. I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE SINCE I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WELL I GRADUATED IN 1980 SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU???? CONSISTANTLY DELICIOUS.

This is not as ceap as the building actually looks but they do have some really good food. The employees are ok they are kind of slow but they have some great tasting red quesadillas and some chicken flautas. The salsa that they give you to go along with food is kind of spicy but it gives the food a real compliment. It wouldn't be mexican food if it wasnt spicy.
