Poor & Inconsistent Communication from Service

I contacted Fladeboe because of an issue that just came up with my Passat where a front plate became unfastened under the car and was dragging on the ground. I asked to be connected with service, and after a minute was connected with someone. I explained my issue, and asked specifically if I could bring it in today to get it fixed. After being put on hold for a few minutes, she came back and said that I could. I reiterated that I needed to get it back today, and she said it would be fixed today. Then I called back about 20 minutes later to see if they had a shuttle, and spoke with someone else. When I told her what I was told before about being able to get it looked at today, she said that was impossible and that they didn't have appointments until later in the week.
I work in customer service. Not only did she in essence say I was lying (nobody here would have told you that), she did not offer to give me a number for another VW dealership that might be able to help me.
It's too bad, as I just took a new job near Fladeboe which makes it the most convenient place for my VW service. A company that presents itself that way, however, will not get my business, or that of anyone I know with VW service needs.
Oh, and then to top it off, the automated email response I got after providing a comment back to them on their website is from the Internet/Fleet dept essentially trying to sell me a car.
Unbelievable.
