Pros: Soon to be available on Blackberry

Cons: Only for iPhone now

Great stores and deals. Overall it's worth the drive into the Desert. Finish your shopping experience at Coyote Tacos down the street. WORTH IT!

Great stores and deals. Overall it's worth the drive into the Desert. Finish your shopping experience at Coyote Tacos down the street. WORTH IT!

Pros: Best shops and deals

Cons: in the middle of nothing

.

The sheer number of shops within the outlets can be daunting, but if you plan on only perusing the ones you really want to see, it doesn't seem so bad. With everything from Eddie Bauer to Crabtree and Evelyn, there is something for everyone here. The outlet is an outdoor, open-air mall, so bring water with you if you plan on shopping for more than an hour; it can get hot. The one big drawback: in some of the higher end outlets (like Versace or Gucci) the staff can be snobby, if not downright haughty and rude.

PROS: More shops than you know what to do with, great discounts
CONS: Lots of walking in the desert sun, some snobby staffers

Getting to this outlet is quite a drive away from most Southern Californians but worth it. With 130 shops to choose from, a shopper could spend all day here. They have both high end (Furla, Gucci, Versace, Ralph Lauren) and lower end (Nike, Gap) stores to choose from, as well as a newer food court. Prices can range anywhere from 10-75% off. Clothes may be a season behind but at a much better value.

They have all the good stores there: BCBG, YSL, Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Versace, Christian Dior, Escada, Lacoste, AG, Space,Coach, Barneys, Off Saks,Giorgio Armani, Tod's, and alot more. Best time to go is X-mas and/or New Years (<--- I recommend). Most stores have good CS but three or four may not (ex:D&G). Only thing that sucks is the 2 1/2 - 3 hr drive from L.A. I FOUND A GREAT DIOR LOGO S/L Tee last X-mas for $100 valued at $410 from Girly Glamour Collecton. Also got some Gucci shades for $60 at off saks n I found the D&B rainbow colored logo bag for $98 while in stores it was still $150. Just make sure that you VERY happy w/ur purchase because u dont want to make a 3hr drive just to return it. *A few steps away from DH outlets there is another small outlet w/13 or 15 stores.

Pros: Luxury Stores, sales tax 7.00 (hehe), Huge parking lot

Cons: The Drive, busy during holidays

2 hours from Santa Monica was worth the hike for current Cole Haan hobos, big selection of Coach items, Lucky Brand goods at 50% off retail, Kenneth Cole, Polo, Gucci, Barney's New York. Get there before noon and avoid week-ends when all the tourists flock in. Park in between the east and west wings and make a figure eight to cover all the stores. Baron's Burgers are a great pick-me-up. Sign up for the VIP Shopper e-mail and print your coupons before you arrive; no sob story accepted here. Be sure to get the coupon book from customer service; you'll use them.

We LOVE shopping here. Gucci, Prada at Space, Saks off 5th, Barney's, Lucky Brand and Burberry ALWAYS have something great. Sales staffs are always helpful and you HAVE to eat at Crazy Coyote Tacos (it is not within the mall, but just to the west of it, about 100 yds) but worth it to chill out for a break and then dive back in to the shopping. Give yourself an entire day if you are world class shoppers like we are!

This is a great place to stop on the road trip down the 10 highway. Once you find parking (which on a holiday weekend is a chore) there are plenty of opportunities to spend money. Just because it is an outlet do not expect it to be cheap. They want you to shop since the dining options are few adn far between. Also - the bathrooms are not to be missed - they even have built in spaces for your shopping bags so that they do not have to hit the floor!
