When I moved to Napa, I asked my vet in Berkeley for a recommendation in Napa. He asked the traveling radiologist, who visits all the top vet hospitals in the Bay Area - and he said Silverado by a long margin was the best. I've been very satisfied with the care provided, explanations offered, fees are reasonable, and the staff, from the vets through the receptionists, billing folks, techs, everyone is great, happy, kind. It is a pleasure to take my dogs there - and they like it as well.

Sonoma does not after after hours emergency care for pets. Unfortunately, several times I've had animals in need of emergency care and Silverado has been our destination.
Their staff is friendly and totally professional in their care!
We had one cat that was hit by a car~ he needed to be put down and they were very sensitive with the cat and with us.
Our dog was actually very sick~ and no one had any idea why.
The vets were very nice and gave every effort to determine the cause and how to treat her. Unfortunately she died, but was given the best care and treatment while she was there.
We later received a call that she was poisoned by the combination of taking Rimadyl and eating a penny. The combination was deadly. Even after her death the vets didn't quit looking for a reason for her sickness and death.
The vets were so professional in their work~ but were so kind and sensitive, not only with the animals, but with us!
Their office is located just outside of Napa~ and they have plenty of parking.
I haven't been for regular visits only for the emergency care~ and I know that they truly offer the best!
