Ichiro Japanese Restaurant

Ichiro Japanese Restaurant is locally owned and run by a Japanese woman. The food is delicious (I've tried many dishes) and reasonably priced. The sushi chef is only there on Friday nights, but if you get the chance, he's a hoot and a great chef too. It's also a family-friendly restaurant although they don't have too many high chairs. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Japanese food.

I am not a fan of sushin thing, but this place do things quite differently.

parking is not very good but i can manage to park even it's tight place.

prices are little high but it is okay for a meal.

taste is average.

atmosphere is only different than other sushi bar. very recommand

I love this place. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and excellent. Price is reasonable but not cheap. Good value though. Also very consistent over time. I've been going there 10 years. My wife loves the Teryaki steak. It is presented beautifully on a bed of vegetables on a sizzling platter. My favorite thing is the saba mackeral salty and broiled. Delicious.

This is the best Japanese Restaurant in San Diego. I love it because it is so much like my mother's cooking. Every time I'm in San Diego, I' m at Ichiro's. Even my mother loves this place. The last time we went I took all my aunties and Sister and her family they all just love it.
The Chix Katsu is great. I love the tempura and the sushi was great!
