Great Korean BBQ for San Gabriel valley. Obviously not better than ones in koreantown. It's always crowded on peak time.

the food is ok, but the service is just horrible, would not recommend this place, there are a lot better places in the S.G. Valley. we'll never visit this place again, and there's always flies every where...disgusting!

This place has great Soon-tofu -- which is basically a thick tofu stew that comes steaming hot in a small stone pot. You can get it with all sorts of stuff like seafood, beef, mushrooms, or a combination. It also comes in a varying degree of spiciness. They have great combinations here that include soon tofu and a plate of Korean barbecue (i like the gal-bi [ribs]). And of course, you get the refillable side dishes (pan-chan) as part of the meal!

Only drawback, and sometimes it's a big one -- is that the lines can be horrendously long, even during the closing hours. This also contributes to some lapses in service.

I tried the restaurant once and was impressed with their korean type meal. They have lots of dishes to choose from to get a combo meal. And many of their dishes taste good. Their businees are running pretty well so that sometimes you need to wait for a while outside for emtpy seats.

I enjoyed my meal here but I found myself missing the real soybean sprouts appetizer and sweet cucumbers. The Tofu Soup was good.

PROS: Solid Korean Food
CONS: No Soybean Sprouts, I've heard it is crowded
