as long as you are only going in for well-checks or sports releases great. God help you if your child is actually sick. Office staff is incomprehensably rude. Billing office can't get your bill right. I continued with them because the had long hours, a pretty new office, and they were convenient. When it comes to my kids health that's not nearly enough. My child was very sick with a disease that could have ruined his heart and led to heart attack or stroke. I was told for 3 days it was just a virus. The Pediatric Urgent Care by the courthouse saved his life! Mine is not the only missed diagnosis story I've heard and I'm too scared to bring my kids back there.

I don't understand the bad reviews! I have 2 children that have been with them since birth & I have had nothing but great experiences! I drive a very long way to get the best care for my children. All the doctors have seen my kids & I love them all. (Dr Mike is the reason we joined & he will continue to be our favorite.) We have called in the middle of the night MANY times feeling like paranoid parents, and we were always given great advice. In fact, thanks to Dr. Brian telling us to go to the ER at 2 am my son's meningitis was caught quickly (at 2 weeks old) and he is a healthy & happy 3 year old now. They have actually treated him for many additional problems & sent us to some great specialists. I feel so blessed to have found them!!!

I have seen 3 Drs at this practice and they have all been great to me and my sons. They are very attentive and through. They are very much "children people" and relate to my boys well. We haven't had any major illnesses, just well checks, but they have all gone smoothly. I can highly recommend Dr. Al, Dr. Mike and Dr. Rebecca. The only thing I didn't like much was when they circumcized my younger son, they only do the ring method which is more expensive and didn't seem to heal as well or as quickly as the straight cut(the method used on my older son).

When my newborn began having feeding problems, I took her in and instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with the baby, they sat me down and basically told me to get a life. But I stayed on and now my baby has suffered two ear infections and a pneumonia. During that time, I took the baby in to see their various doctors on four different occasion, and when I called their on call doctor one night, he(Dr. BRIAN) basically yelled at me for waking him up and told me that he can't be expected to treat anyone over the phone. He obviously needs a refreshment on his bedside manners and just in manners period. I have finally left and I just regret not having done so sooner.

As a new mom of twins I was very concerned about finding the best pediatrician in the valley but my insurance told me I had to go to Valencia Pediatrics along with every other person who has Motion Picture insurance. I agreed and each visit and each doctor I saw made me more and more angry as I tried to convince them that one of my boys had a problem with his back. I was told that I was a "paranoid new mother" and even though nothing was wrong I could "bring him in again just to make yourself feel better. But you have to wait until after 1:30 because we're going to lunch." They have misdiagnosed all of my friends small babies claiming that they have colds and then all them ended up in the hospital with pnemonia due to the lack of care given by those horrendous doctors! I finally left after six months gladly paying out of pocket for my new pediatrician who took one look at my son and said she saw what I did. Turns out, he has a very serious spinal birth defect that should have been diagnosed months earlier. The worst part is that Valencia Pediatrics made me feel, as a new parent, like I didn't know what I was talking about, like I didn't know my own son! They made me question myself and I will never forgive them for that, especially since I was right! If you value your child's life and you don't want to be told it's just a cold, or if your 22 month old cracks his head open and is bleeding everywhere, don't take him to Valencia Pediatrics because they will make you sit and wait for 45 minutes. And then when your son starts to fall asleep, which we all know isn't good for a head injury, you can tell the nurse and she'll say, "oh don't worry, we'll just wake him up when we're ready for him." Yeah, clearly they don't care about your children's well-being at Valencia Pediatrics. They care about having the biggest practice and the monopoly when it comes to Motion Picture insurance which is practically everyone's insurance who lives in this valley full of studio people. Oh, and don't even get me started on the billing or the incredibly rude office staff and nurses. There's one nurse I like there out of how many? The only Dr. I will deal with is Dr. Al and that's because all I ever need from him is a referral and he's good about getting the paperwork done for me. But no one there will ever touch my boys again. The sad thing is I have so many more stories about this dangerous practice but I don't have the room to write them all here. Basically, if you value your child's health, their life, do not go to Valencia Pediatrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The office management of this practice is horrible! My 11 year old son who has been a patient since birth was discharged as a patient for an $80.00 balance that I paid late. I should not have been charged this fee due to an administrative error on the their part. They waived half the bill. I was having a financial hardship asked if I could pay a week late they refused sent me to collections when I paid the next day they discharged my son...This is why there is so many problems with our world today. So much hatred and poor bedside manner. A lot of hospitals and doctors are going out of business...Think about it my insurance covers 100% my son would have been a patient there for the next 7 years...Over $80.00 is it worth it?

I love Dr. Stern and her staff at Valencia Pediatrics. I have been taking both of my kids there since they were born. All the doctors and nurses on staff are wonderful and very loving and caring with the kids. They are always very thorough in their exams and interested in what you have to say. They are open late in the evenings and even on Saturday and are always available to reach by phone. You don't need an appointment but if you call before you come in you won't have to wait as long. They have outgrown the office they are in and are in the process of moving to a new and bigger facility!

Amazing pediatric practice. All of the doctors are very special.
