Ruth's Chris Steak House

My husband and I had the best steak we've ever had here. The summer special is fabulous. The service is superb. The martinis and the wine were perfect. Quiet setting and upscale astmosphere.

I took my wife to Ruth's Chris for our anniversary. The server was polite and addressed us formally by our last name (apparently they memorize the reservation cards). Our steaks were prepared just as ordered, and my filet was tender as could be and quite large. Filet mignon, onion rings, and a Stella Artois-- what could be better? As the portions are large, there was almost no room for dessert. Even so, our server graciously served us a piece of chocolate cake gratis in celebration of our anniversary. I think our bill came to about $130. It was worth it.

If you really love meat, this is definitely a place to go. It is a 5 star place and has prime choice cut of their meat. It is a little pricy but I think it is well worth it. They have an aging process for their meat (20 days). Basically they age their meat before they cook it and serve it to you. The side orders are made to share and I would recommend the mashed potatos. They give excellent service and if you are not happy with the way they cook your meat, just tell the waiter and they will do something about it. Furthermore, the dessert is very good as well. I would recommend the Apple Crisp ala mode. It isn't too sweet but the texture of the crust is really good. If you get the porterhouse, you can actually taste the new york steak part from the t-bone steak part from the filet mignon part. Prepared very well. ENjoy.

Ruth's Chris is the BEST steak house I have ever been to. There steaks are so thick & juicy AND you can cut it with a fork! A whole lot of pricey though. BUT SOOOO WORTH IT! I had their spinach salad->to die for! I also tried their stuffed chicken, OHHHH It was stuffed with cheese and more cheese, sooo good! They service is wonderful!

PROS: So worth every penny!
CONS: A bit pricey!
