Great italian dishes(manicotti ravioli lasagna) american style spagetti (blan) pizza is one of the best in town (gotta go works anchovies on the side w/garlic)

Love this restaurant. I lived in San Diego for 41 years and this restaurant was one of our favorites. Great Food and prices. Liz is awesome and service is great!!!

Located in Lemon Grove, Ca
I'm really happy with this restaurant. The food is excellent, the portions are good size, and the costs are very reasonable. Their pasta sauce is to die for.
The menu is almost all Italian food but it has a nice variety and also serves pizza. You can eat in or pick up orders.
This is a business that has been around for many, many years and provides kind of an old country environment.
If you have a large family, they can accomodate you. Try them out!

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in San Diego, and it is so nice to know I am supporting a local, family run business. You will not leave this place feelimg empty! There is plenty of food served, in a friendly, bustling environment. My favourite dish is the spinach and ricotta lasagne. It is massive though, so I only ever manage to get through just over a quarter of it! It arrives baked in a dish with a thick layer of mozzarella cheese on top. Heaven!

I ate at Lido's last nite for the 1st time. I enjoyed the variety of meal options available for those of us who prefer smaller portions. The meatballs and sauce are out of this world. Great price great value.

PROS: Half orders and sides of meatballs - scrumptous
CONS: Lack of waitress ambiance

Its been around for 50 years for a reason. They have mastered the art of homestyle Italian cooking. From the house salad dressing to the meatballs, your taste buds will be in heaven. If you go, I recommend adding a pizza to your meal, it's incredible and it'll take up room so you can have leftovers the next day (the flavor is even better on day 2).

PROS: Lots of delicious food at a very reasonable price
CONS: You'll repeat yourself a lot, it's loud inside.
