Light My Fire

Once you walk in you automatically inhale the fragrant smell of peppers and spices. For any spice and hot sauce lover this is your dream come true.

They have a 1,000 different sauces. Yes that's right a 1,000 different sauces. I was told they didn't have it all but it sure seemed like it.

One downfall was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke. It made my kids complain. The shop itself can't do anything about because the market itself allows people to smoke. I could've sworn about 2 people were underage too.

But if you ignore the smoke you'll really enjoy this place. The names are hilarious and sauces are outstanding. Don't let the names fool you a lot of them are contest winners for flavor and heat!

Light My Fire is located in the Farmers Market in Los Angeles and sells the largest collection of hot sauces that I have ever seen. They probably carry every hot sauce available in the market. Their walls are lined with all the different bottles. Each one is unique and are graded to the degree of hotness they produce. The sales staff are very nice and are very willing to answer any question or suggest which sauce would be the best for your degree of tolerance.

Hot sauce galore is what you can find at the Light My Fire store in LA's Farmer's Market. They carry hundreds of the hottest, spiciest sauces known to man. They also carry an hugecollection of barbecue sauces, spices, salsas, mustards, jerk sauces and hot popcorn. It is just amazing to see how many different varieties of hot sauces are available. I found their hot sauce labels really funny too like "Mad Dog Inferno," "Beware Comatose Heat Level," or "Crapper Jon's Ultra Hot Sauce".

Located at the very cool Farmers Market, this store is devoted to hot sauce. Imagine floor-to-ceiling covered with every brand and label imaginable of nothing but hot sauce. Be sure to stop in even if you're not a hot sauce lover. The labels are pretty funny and make good gifts.
