Sheri's the real deal - and quite fine at dealing with the shivering new anxiety too! I read the reviews here - called her and another stylist (from another salon locally) and Sheri called me back within a few hours. (The other never returned my call). She found time for me at the end of the day - to "just look" at my color and cut and make suggestions after hearing my concerns. I like the patience and professionalism she demonstrated throughout my anxious "oh, maybe it won't look good that way", in the end - she gave me a cut that is far and away - a CUT ABOVE anything I've been able to imagine. Wonderful! She told me the color would come alive if the cut were improved -and voila!- she's right! WOW.
Now I go back for a color "patch" that admittedly I'm wondering "how can that work out?" But that's what I said about the cut - and now look how happy I am. Stoked!
She's not the cookie cutter salonist...she's a pro - who has earned her knowledge from many avenues.
Price is a little more than I expected...but not too much for the quality.

Professional, affordable, and best of all, personal experience!

Sheri is great! I come to her after a long day of work and she takes care of me. From hair to make up, or if I simply want to hang out - she is great to chat with, and/or have a drink. When I first came to Pro-Creations, I wasn't exactly sure what kind of haircut I want, but she had no problem with cutting my long long boring hair, into a shorter, much easier to handle hair style. She gave me a style that fits me and I know it is to her I will go if I decide to change anything about my hair (highlights etc). Btw I found out she teaches a class at Skyline in Advanced Cosmetology Concepts. Very knowledgeable and professional, yet fun and sweet. Also I noticed her salon is very popular with men...she must me doing something right. :)
Simply fun experience and great hair! I don't need to look anywhere else.

Sheri is great - not only is she an excellent hair stylist, but also a very very nice person. I moved to the bay area about a year and a half ago and I have been struggling to find a good, dependable stylist. I tried a lot of places - Rain at San Jose (which was ok), Trio (burlingame- pathetic . don't ever go there), Stilo San Mateo (strictly ok) and so on.... But I think I just found the right person for me. Its sooo important to have a good stylist, who understands your hair and does the best for you, so that you can maintain a good cut. Sheri definitely has the sense for that!
She has a very cute little place in San Carlos. Before she cut my hair, she asked me what kind of cut I was looking for and then she threw in her suggestions. I have very frizzy hair, with a history of bad hair cuts for the last 1.5 yrs. She took charge thereafter and gave me a LOT of tips on how to improve the texture of my hair and what common mistakes I should avoid. She also told me what kind of products I should use, without throwing/selling/pushing any of the stuff of me. She walked me through the entire routine of what I should do after I wash my hair and how I should style it and how I could maintain it. In the end, I walked out of there not only with a great haircut, but also feeling really up beat about my hair ( finally!! )
What more can I say - she really did a terrific job and I am very glad I came across her place by sheer chance. I am definitely going back, in fact I'm finally going to get on a good hair-cut schedule with a good artist!! Thanks Sheri :)

My best hair experience yet!

I'm so pleased that I've found this wonderful salon in San Carlos. I came in for a trim and she added life and vibrance to my hair with some reshaping and a deep conditioning color deposit treatment. This place has all the amenities of a snooty salon in the city, just without the snoot! I was offered wine, beer, soda, or water when I arrived. She even had snacks if I was hungry. The walls were covered with awards and placards that boasted Sheri's expertise in the beauty department. She is a master at hair color, style, makeup, and beauty education. Sheri's clientele are strict followers and never go elsewhere (I learned this from another lady while waiting). She also rents out a chair to another lovely lady who seemed to contantly have someone coming in the door. Overall the place was very comfortable, I felt completely at ease and in the hands of a professional. I'm so happy that I discovered her. I'm getting married in May, and I know that she'll be doing the hair and makeup for my wedding party!

Good Works!!!

Pro-creations was absolutely amazing! I had a business trip that I was getting ready for last minute when I realized I REALLY had to get my color done. I happened to drive by Pro-Creations that day and stopped in. The atmosphere felt like home. The salon owner and her assistant were very inviting and accomodating. The salon owner was very well educated and gave great suggestions. Not only did I get great service, but the job was done efficiently which created less stresss and allowed me to get all my last minute errands done. Last, but not least, I received a numerous amount of complements on my trip! Thanks Pro-Creations!
