Dasaprakash Indian Restaurant

I mean it guys, no offence to those who liked this place....try going on a weekday, they probably will serve food which was not cooked the same day, it was smelling at multiple occasions.....we (6 of my friends) had this experience twice with this restaurant!!!
Food was smelling, and "really" out of taste...we compliant, didn't eat our food (at all), manager didn't listen to us and explained that there is nothing wrong...and even CHARGED us for food ..... we don't mind paying for the food, but atleast we were expecting some courtesy to customers who have been there multiple times!!!!!
We are NEVER going to this place again....

This restaurant is in a strip mall with a Quiznos, Armadillo Willie's, and Taco Bell, but why go to any of these when you are next to a great place like Dasaprakash? Don't let the strip mall frontage fool you, this is a nice restaurant with modern decor.

The service was excellent - while I was waiting, the owner gave me a copy of "Siliconeer" magazine so I could learn about Indian tech culture while the food was cooking.

The food is very good and very hot. The dosai are a bit crunchy and oily for my taste, but I'm definitely nitpicking here - they were excellent. My mouth was on fire at the end of the meal.

Prices were a bit higher than other similar restaurants but the ambiance is much nicer.

PROS: Great decor, food, service, nice spices
CONS: Slightly pricey

This one on the better Sounth Indian restaurants in the Bay Area. Food is good and their menu is very informative. It tells you the main ingredients in every item. Though it is an expensive place to go to, try it atleast once.

Dasaprakash is located on Homestead Rd, opposite to the Santa Clara library. The food is very good. The prices are also high. This is one of the better south indian restaurants in the bay area. They have very creative entres for the cuisines of different states of South India. I would highly recommend this place. I gave them 4 stars because they are a little pricey.
