The title is what a friend told me when I purchased a motorcycle in Ridgecrest. There are 2 dealers, one is RMC. When you take your bike to them, they may or may not work on it that week. They may or may not call you when it's done. They may or may not do what you asked.

The first time I took my bike in, they didn't bother with the oil change (I saved money doing it myself) or diagnose an electrical problem with my tach. The second time, more of the same. They took 6 days to start working on my bike and will not make appointments. The last time I used their services, they dropped my bike breaking the windscreen (replaced by them), cracked my speedometer glass (I told them not to worry about it since it already had a very small crack), and broke the idle control lever. I was told, "we'll replace idle control" and "the part has been ordered" ($35). I gave up after 6 weeks of asking.

The problem is the service manager. I can only guess she's family. She's nice, but rather incompetent.

As far as the actual work done to my bike. The quality of the work (when it was finally done) was very good. They have a clean store with a reasonable small town selection of products at fair products.

My suggestion is to order parts online and learn to work on your own bike.

RMC has a great selction of dirt bikes and supplies. They are very reasonably priced and have good quality bikes. I wouldn’t buy a bike anywhere else. Everyone buys their bikes from RMC and they back their products 100%. They sell clothing as well. They are well-known and that is always good. I would definitely recommend RMC.
