Florentine

Love their Gnocchi with Pomodori, but I didn't really care for anything else on the menu. Not sure if they still have the "Bag Lunch Special" for $5, but that was a good deal back in the day.

Good Italian food - Florentines is tucked away in the same shopping center as the big lamp store(can't think of the name) on Blossom Hill just before Alamden Expressway. Because many don't know its back there or they forget it's there you rarely have a wait to get a seat. The service is friendly and prompt. Prices are good and worth the taste of the food - the fresh bread is a really good starter. We enjoy the chicken Parmigiana.

No one seems to know about this little Italian restaurant because we have never been there when there was a wait. The fresh baked bread and cheese spread is to die for and the rest of the food is good, if nothing special.

Florentines offers good homemade Italian food. Their bread is excellent. No need to wait around like at some chain Italian places.They have seasonal dishes that are always tasty.
