5 Stars: authentic irish bar (by Laura M.)

i met a really hot Irish guy here with a great accent. It's an authentic irish bar with really nice people. Its a big venue with live music every night. It's right across the street from buck shot so you can go back and forth between the two. On week nights the guys are kinda old though

4 Stars: great live music, but... (by chefbum)

Ireland's 32 is one of a fair number of Irish bars in the Geary/Clement corridor. As such, frankly it doesn't have much to set it apart other than the fact that they feature live local music and entertainment on most nights. If you want to support your local grassroots music scene-- everything from folk, eclectic, classic rock, funk, blues, singer-songwriters, etc., etc.,-- then this is the best place in San Francisco that I know of. And best of all, there's rarely a cover! But there is a cost, however. The 2-story interior is a bit cavernous and not all that inviting or cozy. Also, the drinks are often quite mediocre and often expensive for the amount poured (don't get yer martinis here). Stick with beer to be safe. I figure it's in lieu of the cover, so I'm okay with it for one or two....On the upside, the bartenders are friendly enough, and nice... and really Irish, though most of the bars in this area boast real Irish bartenders and owners. Try saying that about the "Irish bars" in San Jose.

5 Stars: Great Bar with Awesome Service (by ukgrad04)

They have the nicest bartenders I've met so far in this city! Service was quick and the prices cheaper! They also have live entertainment! This is where I'm going for St. Patty's Day!
