Office Depot

I live 2 blocks from this store so I go there out of convenience ONLY when I have to. I go there approximately 4 times a month. The manager should be fired. He is extremely uncooperative, doesn't know what he's talking about half the time and as another reviewer put it, he is extremely rude. I buy alot of electronic equipment and office supplies. Electronics these days need to be returned more frequently than in the past because they just aren't made as well as they use to be. I have learned that at this store....keep your receipts and your box and avoid the manager and you will be fine..but other stores are much more accomodating than this one. The staff is generally pretty good and upbeat which surprises me knowing their boss. They probably take him as a joke...I sure do.

I was at the Office Depot at 825 West E Street San Diego, CA.
I was returning a gray clipboard that I had no receipt for.
I bought it two weeks ago for $14.99. Harry, the manager refused to scan or have someone check for the exact clipboard.

Harry said that he could only give me a penny and laughed at me. I said why not check or scan the product in store. He refused and told me that knows of all the products that this is not there anymore. He said that he had been the so-called manager there for three years and knows his product line. I have shopped there for office supplies for two years and never ever seen him there.

His rudeness would make anyone doubt that he is a so-called manager let alone one for three years. He threatened to cause me harm if I did not leave the store. He will be reported to the corporate headquarters for terroristic threats.

All this over a clipboard return! Watch out for Harry!
He needs a drug screening test and anger management!

Office Depot has everything you might need for your office and more. They carry both traditional office supplies (paper, pens, chairs, desks), but also have lots of computer supplies as well. A lot of their sales are usually really good and sometimes you can even make money off of them. The only problem I've had is a bossy manager who wouldn't budge on some pricing, otherwise this place is great.

the customer service here is great was the last store in town to have the camera i wanted a while back the managers are pretty cool gotta love them doing what they can to help you out

I liked this store. I ended up buying a computer chair and because the one on sale was the last one in the store and out of it's box...the nice salesman called another store and brought it over so i didn't have to look elsewhere. and I got the great sale price....I highly recommend

Large store with all their shelves stocked with what they advertise or purport to sell. It is nice to be able to go in, find what you want and purchase all in a minimal amount of time. Their customer service is friendly and very helpful. Prices are verycompetitive and most importantly they have everything that they advertise. It's location is another nice thing since it is right in downtown.
