Good service and Quality 4 By Chris C. \| Insider \| Rank: 15,012 Van Ness Bakery & Cafe I went in there to get a cake for a friend for a small party once and it was a rush, so we ended up putting a little pressure on them. Nonetheless they came though and did great. Their customer service was excellent and the cake was just as good! I'm definitely going back next time when I need to bring a cake for an event. They have breads and donuts and even little sandwiches and cafe items. There baked goods are quite good- they have a nice selection and everything I have had from there (mainly donuts, muffins and pastries) has tasted delicious.
