If there was any way possible, I would give this place half of one star! This was the last hotel we were able to get at an affordable rate for the weekend we were up in San Francisco. Everywhere was sold out. It was rated 3 stars and I figured it would be safe. The location is on an extremely busy street and obviously very limited parking. The hotel offered valet (guests still had to pay $36), but when we arrived there was no valet to be found. We tried to check in at 2 pm and they still had no room ready and we had to come back at 3pm. At other hotels, I've stayed at, I've been able to check in as early as 12 pm. The room was fairly large, but so OLD and dilapidated. The bathroom was so small, OLD, and needed a complete renovation - actually the whole hotel does. The air conditioning was a unit that had to be stuck out of a window. The beds were comfortable, but the floor was absolutely disgusting. The floor was creaky and lifting up. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Take my advice - pay the extra money and stay at a brand name hotel. This hotel is considered a boutique, but Travelodge is better than this place.
