I wish I read the other reviews before I brought my five year old son to Joelle's. The woman who cut his hair was rude and abrasive. She completely ruined his beautiful hair. It's totally uneven, and it looks absolutely ridiculous. When I politely asked for a refund, the owner refused. She said somebody would fix it. First of all, it cannot be fixed, and I would NEVER step foot in that "salon" again. Imagine refusing to give back $15 to make a customer feel better! What kind of business is this? NEVER go there! They don't guarantee their haircuts like they claim to. It's a LIE!

This place was a NIGHTMARE. Papar is absolutely crazy. I spent a year growing out my eyebrows and getting them waxed with a different girl, I just went for her to clean my eyebrows (they obviously didn't need to be shaped) and I barely have any eyebrows left. Not only are my eyebrows very very thin but they are uneven! The right one is clearly thinner than the left and they are off center. Papar is not only a bad esthetician but completely inappropriate and racist. She had the nerve to tell me that I was the only pretty Mexican woman she had ever seen. I was so offended. This is the first and last time I will ever go to this salon.

I mainly come here for brow shaping and facials, and Papar does a great job. I haven't been there for a while, so I hope she is still there because she takes her time and shapes your brows perfectly - not too thin - and makes you look younger too. The facials are luxurious and fill up over an hour of relaxing time. The prices are high, but your skin seems to understand that you paid extra money and it pays you back by making the extra effort to be radiant. Just kidding, Papar is a skilled esthetician and is the reason for the brightening and tightening of your skin.

They call themselves a "salon day spa" for a reason; the haircuts here are pricy, starting at $45 for women and that doesn't include a blow-out (for say, curly hair) or tip of course. However, you do get the star treatment here. The stylists listen to you when you say you want a particular style and they know how to accomodate your face ship and hair length/thickness in order to make you look good. That is the reason that people keep coming back to Joelle's and continue paying what they do! High recommendations for any gal looking for someone that will listen and not chop off all her hair!
