VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER AFTER 40 YEARS!!!!!!!
They quoted the job for one price & when we got the bill it was outrageous. They way overcharged on the parts, had another guy show up adding $60 per hour to the already $98 per hour we were quoted. They charged for work they didn't do. When we called to complain, the owner said he does everything by the book. This is a total rip off. They have lost us as a valued customer. We will NEVER refer them to anyone ever again.

I contracted with GEM Plumbing through my general
contractor to hook up my pre-existing bathroom to new
plumbing that GEM installed in my house. They did not
hook it up to the new plumbing, but rather to the abandoned
septic tank. They also failed to hook up the washer and
kitchen sink drains to the new plumbing that they installed.

When we experienced a problem with their work they don't return calls, don't receive calls, and can't resolve the problem, which is a very common problem! They show up for 2 minutes at the end of the day and after 6 months and $6 thousand dollars our systems still do not work! Every time I call they just get annoyed and make an appointment for days later. We have heard that 1) we are not in their service area anyway, 2) too bad we didn't do all the work they recommended, (thank G-d we didn't), 3) when they show up the problem doesn't happen, and 4) they don't know what to do to fix it!!! Wow!! Unreal!! If they don't know, then who would????? Pretty Scary, they have the money & we have the bad job!!!

I would never trust them for the scew job delivered some years ago
It is sometimes said that what goes around comes around. So it is
now Gem's time. A while back, while on vacation, my mother-in-law called GEM for service to the toilet. We were charged $495. to
replace a toilet that at the time cost less than $50 dollar retail. I later
replaced the same toilet in less than 30 minutes. How in the world does
this add up to $500.00. It was a plumber taking advantage of an old lady.
Gem was the company that allowed this to happen.

Within the 5 weeks I had to get a tiny tub and a tiny powder room joined and built into a "real" bathroom with tub before wedding guests arrived, GEM Plumbing coordinated the tear-out, framing, drywalling and installation of everything essential, with the bathroom sink installation done while I was picking up guests at the airport. Dave Pedroza Sr. is an outstanding contractor in every way. The men, and subcontractors, he assigned to my project were prompt, paid attention to detail, sealed off neighboring rooms from construction dust and cleaned up after themselves every day they were there. An absolute pleasure to have them take care of us so well and so smoothly.

I had Gem Plumbing move our water heater outside, a fairly large plumbing job. They provided excellent advice on all the possible solutions and were very professional throughout the entire project. The team was clean-cut and courteous and very throrough in their work. They fully delivered on all of their promises. In fact, I pointed out two smaller unrelated plumbing problems I was having and they took the time to fix those as well. I would highly recommend using Gem for all of your plumbing needs.

I had a plumbing problem and called gems. They were at my house in no time and did a wonderful job and the price was just right. The best part was they didn't try and sell me by telling me that we needed to repipe the house which we were told by another company.

We had them come out and fix our air conditioner. The guy was very friendly, and since the repair only took 15 minutes he didnt charge us for the full price. I really recommend them.
