Challenger School is an independent private school focused on academic excellence, individual achievement, critical thinking skills, and self-reliance. Our curriculum is built on the foundations of knowledge: language arts, math, and logic. Early mastery of these basics prepares students for advanced studies and learning at an accelerated pace. Our uniquely structured classes yield astonishing results. Challenger students achieve scores on average in the 90th percentile on the national Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). This means that our average student outperforms nine out of ten students who take that test. Challenger School offers preschool through eighth grade programs. Come tour our beautiful campus, learn about our renowned programs, and meet our amazing staff.
Challenger School is the answer to failing education everywhere...maybe!
by terry b.
Challenger School is pricey, but not when you understand that the fees charged are the ONLY fees you pay. There is no sales of candy and wrapping paper or other money grabs to hide a higher tuition.
Challenger School makes an effort to provide a service to its customers. Those customers might not be you. That's fine. Target or JC Pennys...hum...why do we choose? Every type of education is not for all people. Challenger is what it is and does not pretend to be something else. I and 45 years worth of students think it is pretty cool to go to Challenger School!

Challenger School is PATHETIC
by Scott S.
AVOID this school if you can. Everyone you deal with has an attitude, including the minions at the front desk. Teacher turnover is alarming and $$$$$$

Is this a school?
by Masy H.
This is not a school, but a drain hole for our hard earned money. Some Teachers are hi-tech industry drop outs with no training whatsoever, no social skills.

To work with all the kids
by Rajesh K.
Overall the structure and the standard is very good. But they don't work withe average students and try to bring the best in them. They only promote the brainy students for everything. This includes quiz, bees, Christmas /spring programs. They only encourage their best kids for all these activities. The teachers do this so that they can present a good picture. So again and again the same kids win. The average kids are not encouraged to do their best.
Challenger teachers should be trained not to be partial with children. This makes the other children feel inferior.

Great Experience. Great Outcome.
by Eliot J.
Our children attended the Sunnyvale campus of Challenger. We had a universally great experience. We loved the principal, Mr. Grapes and found the teachers challenging, helpful and genuinely interested in our children and their learning and success. They finished at least 2 years ahead of their public school counterparts and with a love of learning and reading that their friends just don't have. We would highly recommend Challenger School.

Steer clear of adminstative staff, rude and unhelpful including the principal. Very dissatified with the very people who are suppose to teach your kids with example of good behavior.
