Amici's delicious East Coast style pizzas have been called, "The Best West of New York!" Thin, crispy crusts are topped with the highest quality ingredients to create an infinite number of flavor sensations. A range of fresh pastas, great salads and side dishes complete the menu. Amici's is the perfect place for a casual business lunch, family dinner, or late night snack. Amici's also offers food to takeout, and free delivery to your home or business daily. We offer eleven Bay Area locations: San Mateo, San Francisco Lombard Street, San Rafael, Redwood Shores, Mountain View, Dublin, San Francisco Mission Bay (Across from AT&T Park), San Jose, Vacaville, Danville, and Cupertino.
I have to agree that Amici's is probably one of the best places for pizza in San Mateo. Sure there is Round Table and some others, but Amici's has a unique taste and the crust is super tasty. I in particular like their white clam topping pizza which I never thought I'd like prior to eating it for the first time!!!

Amici's has the best pizza! They also have very good pasta and salads. I like coming to the restaurant to eat but have also used their delivery service. The place is clean and the staff is wonderful. Cant beat it!

I've done both pick-up as well as delivery from this Amici's and both options are great. When ordering from their website, you always get a call to confirm. They take special requests, such as for vegan options, and do a great job on large orders -- making sure everything stays hot. An office favorite is their Philly which has sausage and green peppers. The Margherita (with fresh basil) is also really good.

I love pizza and sometimes it is hard to find an outstanding pizza place. But I finally found my favorite. I recommend that everyone goes. It is wonderful. They treat their customers great and that is the main reason I keep coming back. They have a big variety and my kids love it.

Amicis has fast become our family favorite. NY style pizza with flare. Great combinations, pasta, salads, etc. My favorite thing about them is that they deliver to our house in Belmont. While Belmont has many pizza places to choose from, I grade this as one of the top two spots.

This is a wonderful place to go for lunch. The east coast, thin crust pizza is fantastic. The zesty honey mustard salad dressing, which they put on their house salad, is the perfect complement to your pizza.

No Chicago-style pizza for me, thanks. I miss that thin crust pizza I had in New York, and Amici's has the closest thing this side of the Mississippi. Absolutely delicious. I recommend this location over the San Mateo location due to parking issues and crowding. However, the pizza is incredible in any Bay Area location.

Our family enjoys Amici's on a regular basis. The staff is polite and efficient. The food arrives piping hot and is delicious. The salads are very good and big enough to share. it is a little expensive compared to other pizza though.
Pros: Good food and service. Not your regular pizza parlor.
Cons: Very expensive for pizza. Salads are better value--pizza portions are small. Plan on $50 for family of four.

Went there with my coworkers on Friday and the pizzas are great. We had about 10 people so tried many different variety of pizzas, they are all very good. Nice clean pizzeria with great service. Highly recommended.

I am a pizza expert. I've had them the world over and this is in the top 3. Crust is the perfect density of thick and thin. Great taste all by itself. They "dark bake" the pizzas in the now common wood fired oven, so this gets the crust real crisp and the toppings nicely browned. Many places have these super hot ovens and they cook the pizza so fast, the toppings and crust are not properly done. Another reason they're the best here is the pepperoni. They are small little thick cut spicy guys. They curl up with a puddle of grease and a crisp edge. I never said it was healthy! All the toppings are of equal high quality which all helps make this a winner. All of the food is decent, but dont waste your time. Do the pizza. You will be back...
Pros: Best Pizza, Best Pepperoni
Cons: can have a long wait

This pizza is thinner than a quesadilla. I have eaten here severeal times for work events. Every pizza I have ever had here is overcooked, too thin, and way too greasy. There are so many better pizza places around town that I don't understand why this one is so popular but I wouldn't spend my own money here. The lights are so bright and the interior is too sterile feeling for me. Generic at best.
Cons: bright

We moved away from redwood shores but still make regular trips back for Amici's pizza! The 'greek isle' pizza is my favorite, it's a white pizza (no tomato sauce) with lots of cheese and vege toppings. The crust is perfect - thin, but still with a lightly puffy crust done in proper ovens. Surroundings are basic, but clean. Service is good. (One flaw - why do I have to give out my phone number when I'm ordering take-out in person?!? Hate that!)
Haven't found better pizza in the bay area.
Pros: Great pizza!, umm, great pizza!, yeah, great pizza!
Cons: location

Amici's makes the worst pizza I've ever had! I've been to Amici's restaurants 3 times and had it several times in meetings.
Here's why I give them such a bad grade: the pizza is super thin (I know some of you like it that way), there is hardly any sauce, below average amount of cheese, and hardly any toppings. Could they skimp on the toppings any more? I doubt it. Some frozen pizzas are better than Amici's! For example: DiGiorno and Freschetta.
I recommend to stay away from this pizza unless you want to remain hungry. There is nothing to like about this pizza.
Pros: None
Cons: No sauce, Hardly any toppings, too thin

Super, super good ! I'm thinking of moving closer -
just to be within their delivery zone.
Pros: food, service, clean !!!
Cons: (none)

They've got it down - perfect crust, sauce and cheese. The ONLY PIZZA we'll eat !!!!!!!!! The only thing NOT NYC is that the people are nice !!!

The pasta and the fresh salads are great and flavorful, but the choice of pastas is limited to standard sauces and pastas. Go for the pizza!
