Of the three dinners we have had here over three years, one was great (our first visit)! Although very costly (about $120 with wine for two), we enjoyed our first meal (two exceptional lamb entrees) and desserts. Our second visit was so bad we thought it may have just been a fluke. We arrived on time for our 8pm reservations and were seated at a cramped table near the back, off in a corner. We had requested a window table (these overlook the Marina) and we asked to be moved. They seemed VERY put out although it was NOT crowded and the host kept up a running converstaion with another staff member throughout this whole exchange. We waited fifteen minutes for our order to be taken and were served some bread and our wine while we waited. When our dinners arrived over an HOUR later (no joke) my wife's soup was tepid and was brought along with her entree ...one she had not ordered. My dinner came along at least ten minutes later and was also cold. They reheated the soup which we shared while we waited AGAIN for our dinners. After a long confused argument with the waiter who insistd my wife HAD ordered a fish entree...? The pork dish she HAD ordered was brought to us another 30 minutes later prepared so hastily it was raw in the middle and mine was apparently rewarmed..left to get cold AGAIN and sloppily replated on the same dish it was originally served on. We were cranky and hungry and dinner was a joke. We asked that they just forget dinner and charge us for the wine and soup...which they did..after adding the minimum per person table charge to the bill! I asked for the manager and argued that that was unacceptable..he agreed, but still charged for the soup and wine. Our third visit involved more lengthy waits and cold food...never again...

PROS: Capable of very good food..but only once in 3 tries
CONS: POOORRR SERVICE..high prices and bad attitudes

The foods great and the beer is great. A wide variety of micro brews await. The food competes with any bistro that I have been to. Only problem is that the secret is out, and during the weekend, this place is packed.
