Over the years I have known a lot of people who have gone to this school and have done great over the years - this is a Great school - my granddaughter has picked this school as one of the high schools she wants to go to - great teachers and staff.
4My nephew graduated from Sacred Heart Prep not long ago and now attends USF. I love the fact that it is now coed with Cathedral joining the Sacred Heart Family. The campus is beautiful and the staff (including my aunt) is awesome. They are expensive but they also have financial aid for families that needs it.

My daughter has attended many Sacred Heart Summer Camp Programs over the past few years and we highly recommend them. We especially like the baseball camp.
5Sacred Heart is a great school because of its faculty and curriculum. They offer many AP classes and flexible working schedules. They help students get into the college of their choice. Sacred Heart also has a great athletic program, and as a Catholic school has mass about once every other month. SHCP has great school spirit, and offers lots of different spirit days where students can get out of the uniform for a day. Sacred Heart has a large and clean campus, and is overall a really good school.
PROS:
CONS: expensive (appx. $12,000 a year tuition)

This is a great school in the heart of the City. It's expensive but well worth it. The location is just outside the tenderloin / civic center area which is a rough area but that gives the students exposure to the real San Francisco. They are not locked away in an artificial school out in the avenues but in the middle of a City. This real life experience adds to the great book learning that takes place here. Over the years this school has really progressed into a powerhouse of turning out great kids that go onto college and very diverse careers professional, technical etc.

Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory is one of the better Catholic High Schools in the bay area. their reputation has been climbing for the past couple of years. They are selective in the students that they accept but still give everyone a chance to apply and prove hemselves. Unlike St Ignacious where they just look at test scores, sports, and family history. The only thing that I did not like about SH is the location of the school. Its not in a bad area, but close to one. Otherwise its an excellent school.

Although I am not Catholic, nor am I the typical student, I highly recommend this high school located in the heart of the city. Not because I am a graduate of this school, but because this really is a great school. The people here are down to earth. Some maybe wealthier than most of us, but for the most part this is a very loving community. Many other private school are made of more kids that are snobby and stuck up, but kids here are great.
PROS: great teachers....Mr. Gotch
CONS: tuition

My daughter attended SHCP, and I am a '77 graduate. It is an excellent school with a wonderful faculty and beautiful facilities. I would highly recommend it!
PROS: Beautiful campus, excellent faculty, Catholic theology
CONS: Expensive
