A local bagel / sandwich shop in "walking distance " along my beach run -early morn and even late sunset time. Best tasting coffee ever I had. Beats Peets and Starbucks. Hot sandwiches are magnificent- freshes ingredients, melted warm

Pros: Sandwiches are gourmet indeed, so fresh

Cons: have to get "to go" since so crowded and popular

Across from ocean beach, literally, java beach cafe lays in the corner of la playa and at the end of the muni line. Stay for a cup of coffee, very strong coffee and shoot down a fresh sandwhich or pastry while youre at it

Java Beach is a vibrant little coffee shop which is great for meeting friends, hanging out any day of the week.

The coffee is good, the food is nice, the Sub Sandwiches are delicious. The newly introduced bar has been a big hit for thos hot days.

The landscaped gradens provided by local resdident across the road is a great area to sit, drink coffee and visit with friends family/ meet new friends.

The staff for a while was questionable. Some of the wait staff were full of attitude and not entirely friendly or helpfull, this seems to have gotten alot better in the past year, and in general they are always polite.

You never know what you might get here, last time I was there we had an impromptu burst of song by one of the locals

I stumbled upon this spot while exploring the Outer Sunset and fell in love with it! Really adorable and right on the beach. It's cozy inside, with people reading newspapers on those two big couches, but there's always a line. I just had a

The food is average here but the location is awesome, right on the beach. You'll find lots of beach bums hanging around on the weekdays and weekends. I like the sandwiches and muffins and the lattes are pretty good also.

PROS: Location Location Location
CONS: Can be busy with not enough seats.

I love this place! Located right at the N-Judah turnaround, with Ocean Beach right across the Great Highway, it makes a great place to warm up with a hot chocolate or bowl of soup after a windy afternoon at the beach. Or get a latte to go
