We love Bistro D'Asia. If you go, you MUST get the Open Sesame Chicken! It is delicious! And the gyoza (potstickers) and lettuce wraps are very good too! Also the Kung Pao Chicken and Sushi is tasty! The owner is always there and really takes pride in his restaurant!
4My favorite dish on the menu is the spicy calamari salad - it's light and fresh and just the right amount of spice and taste every time. I love it! I'm not a big sushi buff, but I've heard only raves from my friends who are. Don't miss the martinis in the Lizard Lounge bar area... what a treat.

My boyfriend took me to Coronado island for a nice dinner on a Saturday evening. I was in the mood for sushi so we decided on Bistro d' Asia, as their menu was affordable and enticing enough. We requested an outdoor table, and were promptly seated. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly, but it was an hour before we were served our entrees. I ordered one sushi roll and my boyfriend ordered one dish with fish and vegetables. He had to go in to the restaurant to find out why it was taking so long. A young girl came out to our table and asked " Did you want to order? Your server sent me out here." I told her we had ordered and had been waiting quite some time. Finally the food arrived, and it was okay. Definitely not worth the 60 minutes it took to arrive at our table. Another 30 minutes went by with no one to check on us. Our server came out and cleared our table, refilled our water and we requested the check. Another 15 minutes went by, so my boyfriend entered yet again to request our check. He paid her on the spot and we promptly left. We will not return. I recommend that if you do decide to try this place out, do not sit outside, as you will be forgotten.
