Great little market 
I really enjoy shopping here. The selection is great and the staff and owners are very nice. Great produce, meats, and cheeses. I do wish there was better parking though.

a good organic stores in SF 
You will find a pretty good selections of organic produce. They also have a good selections of heath food. This is a ma and pa type of store. They always allowed us to sell Girls Scouts cookies in front of their store. Very nice people!!

great local grocer
The Good Life Grocery has a great selection of organic produce and other products. Their products are also very reasonably priced for a local, small grocer. They're also conveniently located (there's always parking nearby), and they sell muni passes.

Great neighborhood natural grocery stores
Head on over to Bernal Heights or Potrero Hill for a great locally-owned, non-chain natural foods grocery store. The Bernal store recently expanded and they have a great selection of meats, cheeses, and even freshly-prepared sushi. My only complaint is that they need to have a better prepared-foods section.

Great Neighborhood Market!
Absolutely everything a neighborhood market should be. We should all support our local businesses. They have everything we need, they're easy to get to, efficient service, fresh french bread every day, a nice choice of cheeses, good produce and a very good selection of chocolate. What more could we ask for? Oh, they hire locally and support our community, too.
Pros: lovely staff, great service, fresh meats, breads, fruits, vegis & cheeses.

best little market in the land...
i'm tempted to tell you not to go to this market...
...because the reality is that it's the best market in noe/bernal hands down. and i already have to fight among enough hipster/yupsters as it is!!
the food is great, with great selections of indie and regular products, the music is great, (while i was in there i heard lucinda williams and johnny cash then otis day and the nights), and the staff are all young and happy and friendly and helpful, ( but not stalky!)
It's always full of yummy smells and pretty fresh flowers and sparking clean...
best of all they have pomme lambic and arrogant b*stard ale!!
...but you don't HAVE to go.
you can totally stick with the safeway or the bell market, no problem, i won't even tell anyone...
:)
Pros: there are only pros for this place. it's great!
Cons: i guess the only drawback would be parking-but , hi, welcome to the city!

Love this place!
Best grocery store ever! Yeah, the prices might be a little high, but it is so convenient and fun. If you are looking for something and they don't have it, they'll try and get it for you. The meat counter people are extremely funny and sweet. Very helpful. The cashiers are always smiling, except for one girl. But I figured she just had a bad day. And the cashiers are also very friendly and helpful. And those roasted chickens are delicious. As well as their Chicken Salad. But overall, I love this place. Between all the crazy 2 year-olds running around and the colorful staff, you are guranteed a good shop with some entertainment. Also, if you are looking for vegan, organic, or all natural...odds are you will find it here.
