How this restaurant is decorated during the Halloween week is quite scary. They definitely go overboard and out do themselves.
Yet, the food is about the most wonderful tasting thing i have ever tasted.

well. this is la jolla. Pay a little more to get fancier dishes made from regular ingredients. The bread is good - gotta give them that, but otherwise just seems overpriced. Nicose salad just doesn't seem to be worth the fare.

There are many good options for eating at the Shores, and Barbarella's is definitely one of them. The menu is Italian, and we have never had a meal there that we didn't love. The service is great, they are open for lunch and dinner, and there is outside dining to enjoy our glorious San Diego weather. I love her salads, and my son loves the "make your own pizza" option. Don't miss this place if you are here visiting.
