Snooky's

It's been a couple of years since I checked this place out. And it took a couple of years to get over that first visit that's how bad and lacking this place was in girls and faciltiy. It looked more like a biker bar and the (few) girls looked more like the belonged at a Narcotics Anonymous or Over Eaters Anonymous meeting then at a gentlemens club. THIS HAS MUCH CHANGED FOR THE BETTER. Especially the girls. I wasn't expecting much on a Sunday night, but I was very impressed and arroused. Even the one's that are not my type turned my head on a few occasions. To be honest, they were all smoking hot. It was a slow night, but the girls had great attitude and most stayed until closing which says a lot becasue I sure wouldn't want to be shaking my near naked ass when there's no money to be made. The girls outfits were sexy as hell and I believe they all changed into something new at some point in the evening to keep things fresh. The best part was that the girls were some of the most friendly I've ever experienced at a gentlemen's club and in no way pushy. I felt like a regular just after this one visit and will more likely go back for this reason then any other. And, they can dance. Bottom line. Snooky's is much improved and worth a visit. The facility itself still has a way to go to have a more intiment gentlemens club feel to it, but the the half dozen flat screens and slightyly improved sound and lights have helped. They keep it much cleaner then I remembered. I understand that they may be having trouble with the city in obtaining permits from the city to renivate and expand and it looks like some started construction has sat idle for some time. If this is true, then I'll give them a pass on the need improvement for now, but these caliber of girls deserve a proper showcase. A special thanks to Barbie and Mia for making me feel at home and to the dancer who bumed me a cig twice, whom I just can't remember her name. But, I will never forget that body

I like this place because it's safe, I've been in many different bars in AV - Snookys is a good one. They don't like you to talk crap though ) which is understandable, I work in customer service and I hate morons talking crap to me. Peace.

if you want to have a great time in AV this is the place to go.They are open every day,Security will keep you safe(they are armed professionals),bartenders are friendly,and managers are always there for you.Dancers are not "Playboy quality"but they are cute and friendly.I read previous reviews.Well,yeah,if you don't tip the bartenders - they will pay you less attention then to tipping customer(they will still serve you with respect).Yes,if you act like a moron,bother other patrons,try to get dirty with the dancers,disrespect staff etc - Yes,you will get kicked out.No one will beat you,no one will scratch your car.That's nonsense,They got over 30 cameras in that place,that ARE being reviewed by the sheriffs upon request.The point is - if you want to have a good time in the safe environment,and willing to spent 20 to 50 bucks - Snooky's is your spot.And if you are a cheap troublemaker,looking for a free show - stay at home,drink your warm beer,wright some fairytale reviews on line about how unfair the world is to you.

If your looking to be treated like garbage and be overpriced for a drink (soft drinks are more expensive then alcohol) heres your dive. The door security will greet you worst then homeland security at the airport. The bartenders will ignore you and when you do get there attention they treat you like cruller then a drill sergeant on the first day of basic. The dancers are not model dancer quality and unless you tip them well in advance will not even smile at you when off stage. Forget trying to complain to the management because you will just get approached by security and told to leave. I know if six different instances where patrons were dragged out the back door by security, beaten and then dragged off the property. My friend was tossed into Sierra Highway into oncoming traffic almost killing him. He called me from down the street and I took him to the hospital. When we went to pick up his car latter it was badly keyed. If you really must catch a show go the SF Valley.

I got dragged into this place by a friend who demanded that we take him there. its the only bikini bar in the AV and it takes the cake - a flea cake that is. Filthy loud smelly, ghastly / skinny / ugly dancers, alot of characters that look all methed or drugged out. High prices, piss poor quality and rude staff. I cannot fathom why this place is still open - except it is the only one of its kind and its regulars must be real sore up for a bad time?
