I love Hoot Judkins furniture. I always check out whatever they have to offer when I am in need of some piece of furniture- shoe rack, kitchen table, kids stuff, bedroom, etc. I also love to look at the unfinished stuff and the beautiful high end furniture in the other store down the way.
All three in RWC are LARGE stores with a lot inside and I just ask for help if I need something. I don't expect someone to follow me around! But maybe they could use a map of the store for some people... I don't know.
I am going to customize a bookshelf for color and size (plus an extra shelf and moulding) from the office department and put it by my front door- AND I'M EXCITED ABOUT IT!
WAAAAAAAYYY better than IKEA, MACY'S, etc...
LOVE IT!

My wife and I recently purchased a piece of furniture from Hoot Judkins Furniture on Veterans Blvd. in Redwood City. After having to pay in full for our furniture (including delivery charges) that had to be ordered from across the country, we waited several weeks for our customized/painted dresser to finally arrive. Low and behold, on the very day prior to the posted delivery date, we received a phone call at our home, late on a Friday night just as we were on our way out to dinner, that our order had been cancelled due to the manufacturer going out of business. This was quite distressing, since we had counted on this particular piece of furniture to replace two other units and had stopped looking for anything else since. When asked why they had waited so long to advise us of this problem, their answer was that there was nothing they could do and would we care for a refund. What a way to run a business!!! Their other option posed to us, was for them to use one of there similiar unfinished pieces and to try and match the color to the customized finish of the original piece that we had purchased. After asking if there would be a discount for the trouble, we were informed that since they take no responsibility for how the companies they buy from run their businesses, they were not to be held responsible and no discount was deemed applicable. Wow!!!!!!You sure do find out how things work once they have your money in hand...I rather irritatedly told them I would not accept their offer and that I expected my money back in full within the week. Now, thanks to the care & consideration of Hoot Judkins, my wife and I are having to go back on the hunt for another dresser. I surely found out which furniture store we will avoid like the plague the next time around!

I love going in here and looking. They have some really wonderful pieces of furniture. The staff is not always very helpful and they are a little more on the expensive side.

This place has got a great selection of both finished and unfinished furniture. I was looking for a corner TV stand and was able to find an unfinished one and had them stain it to match the rest of my furniture. Worked out great!

The store is extremely crowded but they have just about any piece of wood furniture you are looking for..The furniture is unfinished and therefore you don't have to worry about what color or shade it comes in..Finishing off a medium size piece was not that hard and took about a day with a lot of breaks..

I never really understood this store until i went into it. It has unfinished, more inexpensive pin furniture. I felt that they store was overcrowded and no one ever asked to help me. You really have to know what you want or take a lot of time to find it.

This place has some odd furniture. Not that it's ugly, but it is just not my style. Very woodsy and rustic, almost what you would expect to see in a forest. The staff was very friendly, and I would recommend people check this place out if it matches their style.

Hoot Judkins has the best selection of real wood furniture in the area, at reasonable prices. The range of woods they carry make them competitive with anyone. They also have a huge range of unfinished pieces, and can order anything you want. They offer refinishing services also.

This store sells very good quality furniture. They have a decent selection and you can basically find any piece of furniture you are looking for. Its a medium sized store so its nicely spaced and easy to browse through. The prices are really kind of high though so I have never actually boughten anything here, just too pricy for me. I remember I was looking at this nice wooden drawer cabinet and it was like $350, Im just too cheap to spend that much on a cabinet. But if you have money to spend, I definitly think this would be a good place for you since their stuff is actually really nice.
